Reviews for "Parkour Parkour Brooklyn"

A little dry...

Honestly, it was a bit boring. There were very few commands, and the time-stop didn't really add to anything. I would understand making it slower, but stopping it completely just sort of de-rails the pacing. Furthermore, the animation was, and I don't usually say this, but it wasn't flashy enough. It felt like the character was walking through the game, and quite often I was drawn away from him by other objects. If that's how it's supposed to be, then all right, but if you want what the character is doing to be the central point of the game, you need to turn it up a notch with him. Make him dash instead of jog. Make him leap instead of hop. Exaggerate every action at least a little. Draw me into the action rather than focusing on the mechanics. This was a good first step, but the next one is going to take a lot of effort. Are you up for it?

Good idea

I like the idea of the game, but I think it could be executed much better. I think playing it like a point and click, especially with pausing, isn't the right way to go. It would be much more fun if you decided the move yourself with keys with the character automatically running, or with a time limit to make sure you didn't dawdle. Another acceptable option would be to make the whole thing play like the end sequence, albeit with slow motion only when it was required. Looking forward to the whole game!

Great idea

Not executed perfectly. This is pretty original. Work on making it a flowing exciting game.

Interesting idea

The graphics were pretty cool, the smoothness of the animation was pretty good too.

However I feel the control system isn't very interesting. It would be more fun if you could control the person through arrow keys/spacebar etc.

a good start

this game has alot of potential and is a first entry for this new sport, maybe if you could control the person to do jumps and stuff? not bad though, not bad
