A little dry...
Honestly, it was a bit boring. There were very few commands, and the time-stop didn't really add to anything. I would understand making it slower, but stopping it completely just sort of de-rails the pacing. Furthermore, the animation was, and I don't usually say this, but it wasn't flashy enough. It felt like the character was walking through the game, and quite often I was drawn away from him by other objects. If that's how it's supposed to be, then all right, but if you want what the character is doing to be the central point of the game, you need to turn it up a notch with him. Make him dash instead of jog. Make him leap instead of hop. Exaggerate every action at least a little. Draw me into the action rather than focusing on the mechanics. This was a good first step, but the next one is going to take a lot of effort. Are you up for it?
