Parkour Fail
Though i love the concept, and original controls, the stop and wait for command style ruins the feel of the game. Parkour is a fast-paced, action-packed sport and the game needs to reflect that. I agree that the inputs should be shown as your tracuer moves towards the target.
you could make this better
i dont really like the pauses in action, and it doesnt seem like many other people do either. but to improve upon your concept, you should make more than one available pathway for the players character to travel. this would force the player to make a split second decision instead of just following a simple single command. you could have paths that lead to failing outcomes as well as ones that allow you to pass through the level. personally, i enjoyed the concept of this game, so please make a sequel with some kind of gameplay improvements.

Please dont mind my low score, I just feel that the only numbers on the rating scale arent just 10, 5, 4, 2, 1 and 0.
Anyway, I found it kinda difficult. Like sirwinsalot said, its definitely not Mirror's Edge. Actually, its no where close to comparison with Mirror's Edge. You were shooting for something different. The idea was the same, but nothing alike. I would consider this to be a skill platformer, not action since there's no fighting, explosions, etc.
