More frustrating then the first.
THere was a reason games were like that back then, cause technology was low.
Too much work not enough reward. ok die and try again for what??
No upgrade, no payoff. just shoot slash, and jump. and get ore frustrated.

i would of enjoyed it but
the key to walking and all that where really funky. i couldnt control the character. would of been more exciting it the controls wasnt so funky
Were you using the Internet Explorer browser? It seems to have a problem where the keys are 'sticky' for no apparent reason, causing problems in games such as this. That browser has all kinds of problems in general though...
A fine line....
When making a game like this, where difficulty is supposed to be important, you walk a fine line between challenging fun and foolish frustration. Unfortunatly, it's not a line you walk well, and this game falls under the latter.
IT LOOKED LIKE A COOL GAME... but
i liked the graphics, and the music felt really nostalgic, problem for me was; why do you have to press up to grab the ladder? the controls felt pretty clumsy, and the sword doesnt swing fast enough.
game wasn't that great, but it killed a few mintes for me, i'd say it's worth giving a go.
