Simple yet enjoyable.
Shallow learning curve, good physics and challenging.
Nothing huge and impressive, but it is a very balanced and functional game. Which gets plenty of points in my book.
I like your choice style, but for quick and flawless recognition colors out do any other type of visual aid.

wat do the blank gears do?

The blanks are there to make it a bit more challenging (or to annoy players, depending on how you look at it). You can drop the gears once they're blank. (I was going to add an additional combo count for juggling blank balls, but later decided not to.)
Good game, bad controls
I love math games in general, and this is the kind of game I would play for hours. Its achilles heal, as others have said, is the control. It would be much more fun if the arrow keys could control the paddle. Trying to keep the mouse in the game window is almost impossible when the play gets fast, so it's hard to really excel at the game.
Bit off balance, the levels
The first 4 levels were annoyingly the same and then the 5th suddenly came as a shock... maybe introduce the bigger numbers more gradually?
