Reviews for "The Rise of a Knight"

would be good

if you could pause the game or safe it.... so i cannot make any other things like msn or so and i gave up in the cave... graphics are good sound too

SeethingSwarm responds:

Pausing and saving are still issues for me. Im not that good a programmer and I simply dont know how to do them, especially with a game like this where there are a million things going on in the background. But I do agree with you. Pause and save options would be really good, and I will try hard to learn how to do them. Thanks :)

Nothing Special

Smooth Game play but the story was a little stale....

SeethingSwarm responds:

I agree the storyline was very classic and not original even though there are some twists in the end. I didnt concentrate tto hard on the narration either. I just had fun with it and saw where it was taking me. Anyway, thanks for the review :)

So right

Like most have said unfain monster gang ups. They get to the point you can't attack at all.

SeethingSwarm responds:

Really? That sucks. Has never happened to me or my beta testers, but I see many have compained about gang-ups. I'll try my best to rectify it in the sequel...

not great

its boring

SeethingSwarm responds:

Okay, sorry about that. :(

Gotta do better

When I read the words "fantasy action/adventure" I want 3 things. Fantasy, action and some adventure. We are living in an age where many sweet "fantasy/action/adventure" games exist, we are spoiled and the demands are high. It's just to dry and I had more fun playing adventure games in the 1980's, the ones that use to cost a quarter.

I see talent here though, don't give up :).

SeethingSwarm responds:

You didnt get fantasy? You didnt get action? You didnt get adventure? Well, the games that was made in the 80's and early 90's was made by professional game programmers. And yes, they were real fun. Im sorry this game was not good enough. I am still pretty new at making games, but this game taught me a lot, and I think I have improved enough to make the sequel better and less flawed.... I hope :)

Thanks for the review and I wont give up!
