Reviews for "The Rise of a Knight"

awsome

i beat it,it was slightly repititive but the storyline made up for.the music is amazing.the graphics are unbelievable. all it needs is a few combos, less reviewers who keep complaining and a sequel.seriously i dont understand why everyone is saying its too hard.i beat the spider on my second try. all you have to do is run into the direction the spider comes from, then you jump and hit it once your out of reach of its acid thingy.use strong attack to kill the spider noobies and by then use your special attack. as for the last level, well when the ogre jumps up you should too,it takes care of the skeleton infestation.when you jump use weak attack atleast two jumps in midair, after about 3 or 4 times use your special.you might get damage but dont worry. becuase at all other times you keep your shield up. as in duck.its a great game. and what i said was for those who have trouble with the bosses. SEQUEL NAO PLEAS

SeethingSwarm responds:

Great review with some great tips on how to get past the bosses. Im glad you liked the game so much, thanks a lot! A sequel is under construction...

I got pwned

i only got as far as grimwood but it was fun... then i was killed by spiders

SeethingSwarm responds:

Glad you liked it. You should give it another try sometime. The heavy attack is very useful against spiders because of its low reach. anyway, thanks for the review...

game was too hard

kept repeating it self
add like new weapons and skills and make him lvl up
and the spider part was too hard u cant beat it while the spider master was spitting on u n the 2 small spiders was atking you
make it 1v1 when it comes to boss

SeethingSwarm responds:

Sorry this disappointed you so much to give my efforts a 2 out of ten. Well, you gotta fight with strategy and use your different attacks wisely. The heavy attack is especially useful against the spiders. And you gotta pass through under the spider queen before she spews on you etc etc. Strategy goes a long way with games.

Well.

Music was solid. Controls were suitable for the simplistic gameplay. The game was a bit repetitious but I didn't go into it expecting to be awed by incredible game complexity. There's a few points, however, where enemy placement seems a bit insane - the "horde of goblins" bit being a particularly tasty example. I couldn't figure out quite how to actually muck past them, since it was simple a massive cluster of spear, archer, and axe chucking goblins that kept me pinned down under incessant projectile rape until I gave up in annoyance.

SeethingSwarm responds:

Oh well, you need to have patience to figure their movements out. Use your shield, and use your power move very wisely. Fight with strategy and brains. Maybe you just didnt have the time or patience to do that. Im sorry for that. Glad you kinda liked it! Thanks for the review!

it was ok

it was a simple game. like he said. but the graphics were ok.

SeethingSwarm responds:

Cool, glad you liked the graphics. And it was supposed to be a simple hack n slash game. No rpg or anything, but somehow people expect something different.
