Reviews for "Principled Depravity"

I have seen it..not bad

Black and White isn't exactly good for the eyes..But anyways not bad..Add some colors and it would be a nice movie for the eyes. Better models would help a lot also. Story line is solid not hard to follow. Car explosions and other shiz could be more realistic..but thats your choice. By the way i noticed the Main character sounds like sarge from your Zantaboan Series =D

LogFish responds:

Cheers -

Yea, well I like the Black and White thing, and it was intentional in this series - it made animating it really quick and easy, let me get away with pretty shit models on occasion, it was the whole point of it really - let me have fun making a story, Zantaboan Saga starting to drag me down because I have to focus on detail which is oftentimes not what I want to do. This is probably always going to be a breakaway for me as I keep doing my StarCraft movies so I'm not going to change the feel heh. Thanks for reviewing!

not bad

i like it i dont give good rating much but its not bad but the design is kinda ummmm well different haha

LogFish responds:

Haha yea - embrace the change! Change is good!

Well... Better try next time

The voices were pretty bad but i give major props to the style of the flash.

LogFish responds:

Thanks!

You've gotten onto a good idea...

... I just think it could have been developed a little better.
The style is good - though I didn't like the use of colour (marijuana plants, red triad girl) and the grey didn't look too great when it was used either.
I did enjoy watching it - but I just reckon a bit more time in the development stage would have really paid off (especially when recording the dialogue).
Also, the actual art style itself (as in your character models) look kinda sloppy - If you plan to continue this series I think you will want to make the physical anatomy more realistic (i.e. noses where they aught to be and properly shaped heads.

I've been focussing on the negative, but I really did enjoy this - and I'd like to see some more.

LogFish responds:

Thanks - those're all very valid points! I'm suprised how well this did, I was just having fun - but now I see so much potential forsuccess with it I'll focus on doing a better job of future episodes! With models, yea I want to have more expression so I'll need to rebuild them anyway :)

Cheers - handy review!

Not bad, does need work though.

Me personally it was interesting work but ure 3d does need work. I take it u have been using 3d Studio Max and cell shading all the textures, if im wrong i appologise but thats what i think you have done, that part works fine but its the way the actuall edit feels. if u can render your sequences out in long sections then edit them externally because if u make the peice without an editor afterwards the pacing feels too slow.

Other than that man good effort but please use a better microphone the distortion was killing my ears man, u need to muffle or delect your inflections in your speach from the mic.
There are a couple of things u can do, a ladies tight and coat hanger are the most effective if u dont have any money. Anyway i hope in some small way this helps but as i have said good effort but check ure edit and sound they need work!

All the best, Aspoon

Thanks for the tips! I used Swift3D for all the models, building, animating and exporting.
