I love the complexity of this game You have so much freedom you can do so many things. I created a character that thrives on killing robbers, one that is a robber, one that is solely a merchant, and one a cop killer. The replay value of this game is very good, but now I'll give a guide on how to get rich in this game. Also if I'm not mistaken there is someone you can hire in this game that looks almost exactly like George W. Bush, I think the name gives it away. Lol.
NOTE: This is a very loose guide, I want you to do things other than this and just explore.
This first thing you need to do is talk to the sheriff to get the $5,000 starter money. After that hire Najib Al Habash, he is with me every game I've played and I never let him die or leave. Buy a cheap sword for him just for now, because with your rifle you can kill most of the people before they reach you. Now once you feel you have enough supplies ( read the tutorial the author made so you can fully understand everything), buy all the leather you can and go to Caganel and sell it. Congratulations, you got your first profit, now refill your water/food/forage, buy the shoes, and head to Drushlak . Sell, refill, and buyout medicine. Head back to Poca Cosa and sell the medicine ( keep a little for yourself). Repeating this is your route. Every so often buy a horse and cart, 5 max, this provides more space for more profit. I would do the cycle 10-15 times so you get a decent pile of money and upgrade your people's weapons, If they have M1 Garand's take them, but equipped 'em with springfields if they don't have any. By now you should have faced a few robbers , but those are easy.
Got to Caganel and buyout the shoes, pack a extra supplies and head to Okaidi and sell the shoes. Then go to Nirgendwo( to refill) and then to Qubba, here you should suck up to the guy in the government office and say the patrol is evil and get the mission to destroy it, you never have to finish that, its just a way to make the police not fine you $1,000 every time they see you. Now comes the money, all you have to do is go from Qubba to Snerd and back selling alcohol and make major money.eventually you'll have enough to equip your people ( you should have a few more by now) with top of the line stuff. Along with that you can get Vehicles, BUT go to Snerd or Hera first and get at least 400 fuel before you buy the vehicles, once you get enough you should sell or leave all carts and animals and sell the forage. Make trips until you have a disgustingly huge amount of money and you can do whatever you want. Hire everyone and give them each top-shelf items.Or anything else. You can also head to the NE and kill the most difficult robbers. Have fun.
