Reviews for "Magnificent Earth"

well it was okay

it didnt have ne sound besides music but that was probly forthe inevitibility ofit all

Good thinking

I often find myself thinking about the earth, and I think using flash is a great way to get the message out that things needa change. But alot more work in the actualy animation is needed. I udnerstand you were pressed for time, but i reccomend you make a compelted version and resubmit it. That would be great.

BigRed responds:

Meh, I think I've kinda played this idea out. If I were to make another green-movie, it shall have more facts and less fiction.

It would also be great if Sierra made a Spacequest 7. The world is on drugs I tell you.

Moving, but it could be better

it's a good idea, and the music's moving, but the animation kills it. The walking, the drawing of the hands.. it's all subpar. This would have been an otherwise great flash.

BigRed responds:

I'm not too good at golf.

I don't get it, I spent about 30 seconds developing the story, yet 30 hours on the animation, and the story gets more credit...

Damn inanimate objects stealing my glory :'(

Interesting...

While I do agree with you on your message about litter, polution, and enviromental responsibility, I question what you were trying to portray with the organic vs artifically enhanced fruit. Chemical fertilizers and funguscides help crops have larger yields, therefore feeding more people. You didn't really put anyting in your movie against artifical products, you just forced the viewer to accept it so I was not very happy about that. I thought of giving your movie a 5, but due to your unsubstantiated attack on artifical growth methods, I gave your movie a:

3/5

nuke earth

i gave it a 5. it had good animation.. the car slippin on the banana peel some how was more funny then i think it was ment to be. bur whats wrong with genetically enhanced food though?

BigRed responds:

To be quite frank, I don't think we are at all ready to be fooling around in areas in which we know not the consequences. There was nothing wrong with DDT at the time, was there.
