I don't think many people understand what this was about (hopefully I do)
people seem to ber getting offended over something stupid...like you said in your comments..."this is what the military is about...they deserve our respect"
DAMN RIGHT THEY DO!!!!!! they are getting killed protecting our asses and all you guys do is put down this movie? honestly,that's pretty stupid,although,the americans wern't all sugar and candy either...they DID rape them and do mean things to eachother,but it wasn't fair to kill an american for it...that part neither was right...and Bush....he's never right,this flash...touching and sad,sad to see what all these people are going through,THEY did nothing to deserve this...BUSH did...he should be fighting instead of making soldiers doing it!!!!he;s such a little sissy playing golf(which I saw in the flash) while his men are dieing for him!!!!
anyhoo,I just think that the song should be changed...it wasn't sad enough....other then that......DAMN GOOD FLASH!!!!

ok here we go

The message I got from this flash is that invading Iraq was a stupid plan, and that George Bush is to blaim.. I agree with that, but I dont agree with some of the things you say in your comments and at the end of the movie.
I agree that the US troops deserve respect, as individuals, because they have the courage to risk their life for whatever they believe is right.
But I dont respect everything they do, like rape, killing helpless wounded enemies, torturing innocent people and so on.
I think these things should be covered by the media, even if it makes it harder for the troops, because its the truth, and if the media wouldn't be able to uncover the truth, it would be nothing more than a military propaganda machine.
What I think that they are doing wrong is focusing on the soldiers that did this, instead of WHY they did it. What happened is not the fault of the soldiers that did it, but of the people that made it happen. These soldiers where ORDERED to "soften the prisoners up" before interrogation, these methods where approved by Donald Rumsfeld and thought up by the CIA. But instead of Looking for more, these soldiers are made the black sheep, they are dragged to court marsial for things they where told where OK to do.
I think the big problem with this war is the attitude with which the Bush administration is waging it.
They dont care about the troops, they dont care about the Iraquee people, all they care about is giving exclusive rights to drill for oil to American oil companies.

They are getting killed fighting a war to secure 90% of the worlds oil reserves for the Bushes, and their friends companies.
I'm not saying that the people that are out there, fighting, dont deserve respect.
All I'm saying is this war shouldnt be going on in the first place.

Great response. You are right, somebody else pointed that out to that showing what these soldiers did is necessary. I agree with that now. Even though it makes our good soldiers look bad. I you gring up a good point. These soldiers are going to pay for what they did. But, what about the others. Thats just the way it goes. The others will not be exposed and these soldiers will just have to deal.

it wus ok but it wus little more than a slide show. the music could have been better many men instrumental just gets annoying for such a long clip. now on your actual message i agree in supporting our troops but i dont feel bush made a mistake, first of all we stoped most of the cruel and unusual punishment that went on in the country(exception of a few asshole soldiers that dont reflect our true cause or the rest of the military) second of all we r now rebuilding a country second of all a serin gas bomb went off so clearly somewhere in iraqi they have illegeal weapons of mass distruction(yes serin gas is considered mass destruction) 3rd of all iraq did pose a threat weither people believe it or not even tho their official military wus not compitetion their support of terrorism and their hatered for us and our way of life made them a serious threat. and those are only a few reasons i feel it wus not a mistake to liberate iraq.

oh nd p.s. for all those who say we should pull out we cant legally pull out untill we finish reconstruction of the country or our leaders become war criminals its a rule instated by the U.N. just thought i would share that little fact

hmmm i agree and disagree with you...

I think it was a big mistake! the US should have got sadam a long time ago with the koeweit shit, but they didn't they left him to get back to the action.

i also think that the negative media against the prison abuses is fair. Those assholes should leave those people locked up and that's that not fucking rape them and shit. the US is al about fairnes in the world stop the war and all of that and them you see this fucking bastards.

I know that most of the people in that jail are there for a reason and people think yeah do that because they shoot at out people but it's a fucking war then it is logical! they get shot at and murderd.

i understand wot point yur trying to prove but america is not the only country to be fighting in iraq and der men dying britain and many other countries to hav lost soldiers hoo had families, girlfriends, boyfriends, husbands and wives and children who now may hav one less parent i hate tony blair for getting us involved with this war but at the end of the day the soldiers are in iraq now and fighting and unfortunately dying but that cant be stopped now wer in to deep and unfortunately soldiers cant just leave mostly because our goverments are refusing them permission to leave at all and we just hav to hope the war ends soon.
