Old people always get to me...
A by product of The American Dream...
Time to think outside the box a bit...
I think old folks homes can are essentially the result of the lack of respect for one's elderly. The ideal american family is represented as individual puzzle pieces that it fits together well. Pieces that are "imperfect" are to be discarded. Have you ever seen a picture perfect america family with an old grand parent sitting in the corner/Wheelchair?
True, Old folks Homes are good in that the elderly are put in a place where they can be taken good care of by the workers and nurses, and to meeting new people is quintessencially a good thing, but that is not what they need!!! PPL need love and the the fact that they are being loved keeps them alive. sure, most of you in your rebellious teenage years seek indepence rather than love and forgiveness, but as soon as you live on your own, you'll begin to see what you've left behind.
Good peice of flash. the music is a little jaded (Vivaldi is overused) but fits the flash well. what you lack in flash skills you make up with style. nice.

Great Movie but...
I just want to point out one thing. In this movie, we are suppossed to get slightly mad at the Grandma's family for not paying attention to her. My Grandpa died recently and my mother would visit him about three days a week before his passing. On the days she didn't go or call, he would feel lonely and get ideas that he was unloved. It is hard to take care of some one who becomes so dependent on you. My mother had a job, went to church, and did volunteer work... she couldn't watch after her father every second. Since there is no background information readily available for these characters, we can't assume that the man and wife in the picture don't care for the aged woman. Just because Grandma's phone didn't ring while the couple were shown simply sitting in front of a fire does not mean they did not love her.
By the by, this is not saying the flash was bad. I am just saying look at both sides of the situation before picking one.
It almost brought a tear
to me eye when the tree died. seriously a touching piece of work. i wonder if this will turn into a "for damon" then "for bassclock" shengians.
