That must be hell

Sitting around, thinking about how you spend your life so quickly, while nurses feed you and changes your clothes. Sitting in a wheelchair, all alone, with nothing but ugly, dreweling mofo's that can barely talk. At that moment, who wouldn't welcome the Grim Reaper to take your life. Unless, of course, you have a TV. Then it's somewhat okay.

I don't care how much my kids are gonna hate me, I'm staying in there basement playing videogames and watching TV. Check out Newgrounds(if it's on-line then) for the Nth time and so on. Still, time passes by and suddenly your dead. Altough it's the most humane and natural thing to die of age, it's still unbelieveable brutal. That's what I think this movie is about.

Now before you get all angry and try to hit back, i'm only saying my opinion. I am in now way trying to attack you nor do i have any disrespect for you and what you've been through.

My opinion is that this was terrible.

To begin with, the graphics were so-so. It was rather blocky and irritating. Sure, it's relaying the character's emotions, but that's no excuse for drawing a few pics and moving them about a bit.

The story is annoyingly cliche. Sure, you'll get fans on this site, but do you really expect anything less?
It's full of pre-pubescent kids who still can't tell quality from drivel.
As with many supposidly 'serious' flashes on this site, it's death, gloom and torment.
And only once on a blue moon (i mean with EVERY medium, i.e. flash, film, music, prose, etc) will you find someone who purpously aims to display these emotions and get away with it.
So many times (e.g, 'Life as a house', any song by Moloko or Placebo) has someone gone overkill on depressing the audience SO MUCH that they'll just crack under the pressure and believe that what they're seeing or hearing is 'beautiful'.
It's exactly like the flash 'Sounds of Thunder', which centred upon suicide, where a pretty package does not mean a satisfactory product.
Only yours wasn't even that pretty.

And you weighed SO much upon the music to display distress, and a good movie shouldn't have to do that. And also, an easy way to score with the typical newgrounds audience ("oooooh, classical music, wwwwwwoooooowwwww, this must be wikked and stuff").

I doubt anyone outside of this site with an inch of taste would really rate this much higher than a four.

i really liked this. Its a good demonstration of how there sometimes are actual artistic, serious people who submit to a site like this.

to all those who reviewed this poorly because it was "boring" or they "almost fell asleep": you're morons. this is meant to be a serious flash, with a solemn, sad feel. if you wanted to watch something retarded so you could be amused by toilet humor and crude jokes, you should have read the description. dont give bad scores because youre an idiot, give bad scores only if theyre deserved.

Great Job

After seeing a lot of the silly and violent movies on Newgrounds, it was somewhat refreshing to see a serious movie. You did a great job and I thought the music you chose was perfect. Good message. I look forward to seeing what else you come up with.
