Rogue Fable IV is the latest iteration in a project that has spanned nearly a decade of development. The series overarching design goal has been to squeeze every last drop of juicy depth, complexity and challenge from traditional rogue-likes into a tight and polished experience with runs that can be completed in under an hour and that is approachable by players new to the genre.
This latest instalment in the series has been slowly growing in scope and complexity and has begun to expand into spaces and mechanics that are unique to the genre. Despite this it has remained as free as possible of excessive stat and formula bloat with most of the critical information presented in the world and on the field of battle itself.

love it
reminds me of crypt of the necrodancer but without the whole rhythm game thing
This one's a lot trickier than the last one, but I love these games
I always loved this game and invested many hours in it.
Instead of speed build, I like to build an overpowered build.
I made a very overpowered Ranger who now wearing rifle that I got after defeating the train boss.
But when I try to get back out of Iron/forge 1 the game just show a black screen and can't progress in the game... Very disappointing since I made sure to kill every enemy and do every dungeon before it. Now my character stuck in Iron forge and can't go back

The music still plays and I can click buttons but click is black and nothing happens.
I do here menu opening sound if I open the equipment menu.
I replayed the game from the start and same bug, once I enter the with the robots and train mini boss, I can't leave otherwise black screen where I can still hear music and click but screen black.
That map seems to be bugged.
In the end in another replay I skipped that area and manage to finish the game.
The last boss difficulty is ridiculously high, manage to barely finish the game since I get getting constrained over and over again which is very annoying.
Finished the game with a ranger.
