An updated version of the (very) retro arcade classic centipede.
Your mission is simple: shoot everything that moves, and if it doesn't move, shoot it anyway.
Move with the mouse, you're guns fire automatically.
This is the sequel/rewrite of my previous game Electropede.
The gameplay is very similar but there's some more powerups, more levels and I've redesigned nearly all the graphics.
I'm not sure if any of thats actually improved anything, but I really love centipede so I wanted to have another go at it.

But also unforgiving.
The game starts off slow but its fun and entertaining and once you get a few levels in it seems to be easier and moves along faster, The higher levels do bring on some issues such as strategic fight for keeping a constant upgrade flow but that also kept it interesting anyways a good game here

I've become a big fan of Centipede this year and your version is so fun and innovative! I could swear I can even hear a bit of your music in Centipede: Recharged.
Only problem I have with the game is that the achievement for surviving 6 levels is bugged.
Amazing game, loved it, the concept, the graphics, everything is good, very addictive, what i don't loke is that if the mouse pointer touch the border of the screen it can get stuck, or pop up those taskbar thumnails

only the controls feel a lil clunky with the momentum and the mouse being able to move off the screen
I agree it feels 'clunky' ..... in all honesty I copied the gameplay from Jeff Minter/Llamasoft's iphone version of "Gridrunner" and I never managed to do justice to the original ...... if you wanna play this game "the way it should be played" you should check that out on an iphone, cuz it ain't clunky!
