"Ever wonder what makes artists create the things they do? How they came across Newgrounds? What they'll be planning in the future? Then you my friend have come to the right place."-TheInterviewer
TheInterviewer (created by member "The-Great-One") provides a important service not only to the NEWGROUNDS community, but in many ways, the internet itself. But it does seem to be a quite daunting task, so in gratitude for all his fine work, I took it upon myself to create this "The Interview Codex". A program which would allow "TheInterviewer" to easily upload content and have that content instantly and automatically spread across the internet to where ever the flash file (.swf) has already been uploaded, a feat made possible by the powerful functionality of the NEWGROUNDS.com API.
INSTRUCTIONS:
-use your mouse to navigate through interviews
-sort interviews by date OR NAME
-use arrow keys OR MOUSE wheel to scroll text
-press ESC to exit fullscreen mode
And don't forget to maximize the Codex for easier readability.
If you would like to upload "The Interview Codex" to your or any other site, write me a PM and I will send you the .swf file.
This was so much fun to go through and read! I'm still powering my way through interviews!
And I am sure he will upload many, many more :D
This is so cool!
Thanks, I am glad you like it.
i love the idea! i just wish I could use my mouse-wheel to scroll...
You can use the mouse wheel to scroll, when I added the slider, I must have broke the scroll feature...I will get it fixed by tomorrow.
This looks like it could be very useful, but unfortunately everyone I like on Newgrounds is either gone (Alvin Earthworm, TheJohnnyDeath), or just doesn't seem to have an interview (Whileworking, AADudley). Well, I'm sure I'm not in the majority thinking that.
The-great-one is always taking suggestion in his official forum thread, there is a link to it in the Codex :)
Very interesting, not to mention unique; I don't think anyone's thought of this before, and it's a great way to show people these insightful interviews. The flash itself is very neatly done, although there are a few typos, and I wouldn't mind a few other choices of music.
Also, did anyone else read Edd's interview and cry? :(
If you are looking for some more great music to go along with this , check out my PICO RADIO flash. Over 140 different songs and counting :)
