Even after crushing and capturing Arcturia, the Redvonian King was still longing for more castles to crush. Rumor has it that King Blutias has built sturdier castles in his cluster of islands known as Crushtania the Redvonian King wants them crushed. The King has sent you, his Seige Master, and Halgrim his finest mason, to assemble the greatest minds in the land to destroy Blutias's empire.

It was alright. The acid levels relied far too much on luck, and sometimes people would just REFUSE to die; steel beams with tons of wood sitting atop their head, and they're just standing there, fine, because it didn't hit them with the 'right' velocity. -_-

But it's an improvement on the other game, I'd say.

Good Gameplay,

Great Gameplay, stops working after a time,

Fabulous, but not as fantabulous as the original.

I completely agree with ChemicalReaper, but the reason I'm giving a slightly higher score is a compensation for huge the effort. I had the same problems, but I think the reason the people in this sequel have been made harder to kill is because there were many circumstances in which the people in the first game were a little TOO easy to kill, but they went a bit overboard when I had the little issue of huge chunks of metallic beams crushing a dainty princess but for some reason she still stays all neat and pretty. It looks great, and from a mechanical standpoint, it's a fantastic game, but really doesn't pay much respect to the original, which is quite a sad circumstance. I'm glad that the castle pieces can actually be destroyed now, and the huge number of castle-building possibilities is quite cheerfully large, with the new features letting the castle-building players have a lot more room for creativity. But this is still drowned out by the overdone gameplay, overly beautified scenery, and way too much stuff. Props though, because despite its issues, I do see this as an awesome game, and I also enjoyed browsing through the player-made castles.

One last thing: while reading through ChemicalReaper's review, I was sort of reminded of how Ben Croshaw reviews games on ZP... Lol

poor gameplay mechanics

I give this game only 6 out of 10 for the overall reason of the gameplay. I have a couple of reasons to expand upon this. First, there is no way to gauge the strength of the catapult's swing. Second, there are other games similar to this that allow you actually set the power of the swing. In addition, the power of the catapult allows too narrow of a range to successfully hit your target. Now I know some of you might say that I'm complaining because i have no skill or something of the sort. its not true, I want to help the creators with making a more enjoyable game by writing this review.
