Nice graphics, game-play concept is sound - only thing is I after a dozen attempts I just can't get the "rules" of physics for this game. I would be steadily moving upwards, hooking on no more than a three balls away from a hook spot and would climb. Then all of a sudden just drop with weight. Makes no sense to me. I think a help page or instructions to make the game-play requirements clear would be a great help.
I tried forever to find this game again, and when i did, you even updated it! don't listen to those guys man, this game is still great whichever way you look at it. I found the new game elements challenging, latching on to see what each does then working around it. keep it up!
I love this game
It's got nice graphics, good music and sound effects, and is not too easy or hard!
I give 10/10 5/5 and some Kudos!! Make some more like this, little arcade fames are the best!
Prefered the original
Despite the graphical update, this game lacks the charm and the simplicity the original game used to have. The slight gameplay changes are rather annoying (I widely prefered it when you were able to hold the mouse button to use the hook, because it allowed faster reflexes, more movement and the game was more ergonomic that way, the gravity is too strong compared to the original game) and the bombs addition is passable.
It would have been much more worth the play if a retro mode was available on startup.
Not bad, but the size of the game is too large.
It's a cool game, I played the old version and this one is much better in every possible way. I'd give it a 10, but the size of the game's SWF file is just extreme. Can you tell me the reason?
