fucking jigsaw
A Tetris-inspired action/puzzle game of avoiding and stacking falling bricks of dirt, rock and sand to climb your way to safety. 6 unique bosses who try to squish, drown, squeeze, slice or burn you with different level traps and weapons while piling dirt on top of you. Prepare for a challenging game of escaping your early grave!
Try to reach to the top and escape with your life through all 6 levels. Left and right arrow keys to move and climb up short blocks of material. Get the blocks to form steps while avoiding getting squished as they fall. Each material type acts differently when it lands. For some levels, stop rising liquid by landing blocks on to the liquid spring. The quicker you escape the higher your score. Unlock levels 5 & 6 by beating any 2 and 4 levels respectively.
Based on the demo version I released to NG years ago, this time totally revamped. I included many of the suggestions NewGrounds made in that demo. In level 1, Mr. Orange is back trying to bury the Rooftop Skater alive! He has some bombs this time so watch out. (Did you expect him to throw ladders down you to? LOL)
fucking jigsaw
it was great
challenging and hard i actually really loved it. its officially the most under rated game on newgrounds im glad you brought my attention to it in that review.
a great game
but not perfect. a few things lacking were the backround music. one guy had a great idea of giving three options for music. another thing i had an issue with was the speed in which the baddies threw the blocks down. remeber how in tetris you could make the blocks fall faster? think about that... and finally i love a good challenge but my roommate is a baby when it comes to a difficult task. she got so frustrated with the pirate level she almost threw my laptop at the wall. maybe create a difficulty setting for those people who can't quite get the hang of the game?
all in all 8/10 and 4/5
to big of a screen can not play it
booo
Woah!
This was a really cool game! I've never imagined Tertris like this before. I couldn't find any glitches or anything. My only suggestion would be to add in background music. I know it's hard to decide on one, so pick three and make options on the side. It was really fun!
One day I asked myself where the bricks were falling from in Tetris. I imagined them being thrown at me and Buried Alive! was born. :)
