I am currently going through insane and I disagree.

I glitched for some 10-15 levels, from something like... 39 to 50, I'm level 60 something from going through insane with... I forget who.

Anyone know the best way to do the ice arena? I can barely move on the ice and get ganged in seconds.

Also I beat the game but let the thief in the end tavern kill me instead of kissing the clown, it unlocked one of the catfish knights as a playable character.

The agility attribute is pretty much useless unless leveled up to max, or around 5 bars before max. I tried doing a character with nothing but magic/agility, and at level 12 things were just too tough. You pretty much have to level up through strength or magic before you decide to start dumping into agility. Once agility is maxed out though it's pretty fun. You run around so quick and you shoot arrows so fast you can air juggle enemies. You'll still much more damage through melee combos and splash magic though, so agility still isn't a good replacement. If still does roughly the same amount of damage as melee, except you can't do combos. If it did more damage it might be worth building a guy around agility, but it's too frustrating to stay back and launch arrows that slowly kill guys when you could be up cutting their throats and setting them ablaze.

Snoot, the elephant one, does the exact same thing. I wonder why they put in two identical orbs. I'd go with the bear though, just for aesthetic value.

What animal orbs do you guys use?

When I go and try and level up I use the giraffe and when I battle I use the ram.

I was using the skeleton knight.

I haven't completed it yet. I got to the last boss, but I had to go and do something else, and since then, I've had just flash work to do... I'm only playing single player and I got a lvl 34 Red Knight. I worked out a really good strategy for hordes which I call the "Bitch Slap" strategy. Basiclly, you run full pelt at an enemy, then jump and tap X. If you do it right, you should be able to slap the enemy, in the air all the way to the other side of the screen, and keep slapping them once you get there. It also protects you from most projectiles because you are airborne. You can deal with up to 3 or 4 enemies quickly and easily like this =D

Oh man, just got done beating the first battle with the Cyclops on insane mode with a friend. Insane mode was definitely built to be played with 4 people. Even with two of us these enemies still took forever to beat. The black knights with the light sabers seemed to never die, I can't even imagine how long it's going to take to down the enemies on the other side of the bridge.

Also, both our characters have maxed stats. You'll be using the bow more than ever once you get to insane mode it seems. I rarely used the bow in normal mode, but now it seems necessary.

Ok I found out that you don't have to kill yourself to unlock anything. Almost all the characters are unlocked by completing the game with another character; however, letting the thief kill you in the end tavern counts as finishing the game so you unlock your new character much quicker than sitting through the clown dance.

So, Anyone know where to get the chainsaw?

I'll join you in insane mode if you care to let me, I'm maxed out except for agility/range which Im about half way into.
