I get it now, so the Pace list is basically showing how people are moving around the Ranks, and what they could be working for and how long it could take for them to achive certain stats.

The inevitable has occurred as Ya_Ya finally takes his place in the Top 50. Not that he ever reads the fora or anything, but grats and welcome =) DrMSM seems to have moved on to other things, as he didn't even attempt to prevent falling off. Those of you passed (or soon to be) by Ya_Ya can breathe a small sigh of relief, but don't go and get complacent. With as many people in the hunt to enter the 50 as there are (BeFell, Swive, and, oh yeah, me, to name just a few) the next "safe" place is on the far side of LockClock ... which, of course, presumes that he's not going to suddenly wake up and wade back into the fray.

Well ... on what else could they based this list on? Of course they have calculated the average b/p points per days of those on the lists. In fact, (if I remember right) to be on the lists you have to maintain an average b/p per days of 50 and higher ...

In order for me to even check you need at least 40/day during the previous week. In order for you to show up on the Days to 50, you can't already be in it, and you need to be maintaining a pace higher than the Ba.

I don't worry about the daily changes as the #50 changes hands. All I care about is the current total, and that another day has elapsed. As mentioned in the Monthly How To, regarding the Ba:

* This is NOT the pace of whomever is currently ranked 50. On 1 February, 2003, the number 50 had 2,239 BPs. On 2 January, 2005 the number 50 had 16,827. Over the 700 days that elapsed, the BPs needed to be #50 increased 14,588, making the Ba 20.84. WHO was #50 doesn't matter.

Depending upon what colours you actually include, green or blue is the middle of the spectrum, which is why I typically prefer blue, green, and blue-green for website themes.

She's trying to make it during the coming week, before the following update ... but doing things like grabbing 150 one day and 90 the next isn't really going to do it for you. Yoink only needs 750 to get there while she needs 1100 so I don't think she's going to make it. Besides which, if she pushes hard, Yoink's likely just to pick up the pace a little and still beat her lol

We had that huge crunch of EG Generals show up a couple of months ago ... was just a matter of time until you lot all made it to SC lol This is going to be the last set of big boosts to the VP list for a while. Speaking of, Yoink will probably be trying to at least make it to SC before the following VP update ... that extra 5% will be huge for him, jumping him into 2nd place and "only" 1VP behind Nemesis.

Syme and good_guy_o will beat me to EGSC. It's guaranteed. But, today i have the rest of the day off... i'm not sure if i'll get booted during peak hours like I have been the past 3 days. The best way to gain BP is being around druing peak hours. Saturday and Sunday i'll be working during the peak hours of newgrounds... i have 3pm to 10pm shifts and Syme will most likely pass me either this weekend or next week. I'm not sure if anyone noticed this but... last week I had a 1,000BP lead on Syme... but now it's just a 400BP lead. I predict Syme being the next EGSC.

Indeed. But you'll hit your first barrier of Police Capitan. It will take you 500 b/p instead of the normal... what is it, 50? that you are doing now. Then you'll hit the 1,000 barrier of Elite Guard Staff Sergeant. But good luck. Also this link will tell you everything you need to know about b/p points and all the badges.

Please stop. When it takes four weeks of constantly reminding them of the errors, especially considering the fact that they acknowledged the mistakes pointed out to them on day 1, for the author to finally be bothered to go back and FIX the things that are wrong with what they are touting as a general use FAQ, anything they produce isn't worth the time of day.

Even the NG FAQ is wrong, and has been since the update. jon and I both pointed out the error on page 1 of the announcement and it's never been fixed. They quoted NGling's first FAQ, where he quoted ramagi, who had quoted James, who had given ramagi the wrong information in the first place.

You're better off sending them to Joe's pages or NGling's revised BP FAQ.
