haha that face is awesome, its like a cross between popeye and akuma
Made this one inside a library, w8ing for my next subject. He's supposed to be watching a film but he's just snoozing.
I would like to know how you do the shading so well in such a short amount of time MC.
I have no idea how long it takes me to go from sketch to finish. What I normally do is draw a quick 3 minute sketch in Flash (like the one below) and then use alpha on it. Create a new layer and draw over that. And sometimes, if there's a lot of colour to be used, I make more layers on top of that and delete the lower layers.
If I carried on with the one below, there'd be a 'not finished' period where I wouldn't be able to show it until I'm happy that that stage is finished.
And so. Three minutes.
It's pronounced Rag-el you fools!

I decided I would give this a go. Here's all that came to me.
I often do quick sketches and then run them through the trusty cutout and colourize tool, you can get some cool effects! Here's my most recent one, of Dr.Doom pwning Mr.Fantastic.
Athough, reading through the thread, my above post wasnt really in keeping with the loose feel >.< so here's something i just started doodling on the wacom and stopped after 10-15mins. Seems an apt subject with the movie an all!
Here's another sketch for the thread. Took 10 this time. Perfect excuse to draw the Judge.

Quite cool.
Wow, a lot of these sketches are really great for 15 minutes.. i like the ones with more detail though. Just seems right to detail them, even if it is a sketch.

doing quick sketches allows you to loosen up your hand, be free to have fun with the poses without any commitment to details, like having a girlfriend ^_^
Crap will be deleted, cause... its my thread lolz-n-stuff
Okay, I tried. To be honest, I really wish I can digitally draw as if I'm using charcoal, but none of these programs don't work that way. I've always used opencanvas just to sketch, but I never finish them. I like making up poses. Sure wish I had references to use, but figure drawing class was over half a year ago for me=P
Wow, amazing sketches in 15 minutes =O
I shouldve spent the whole 15 minutes but too impatient=P
This is my firts sketch, lemme know what you think bout it.

One more for good measure. This time a send-up to Blade Runner. 10 minute sketch, with an attempt to add eccentric style to the foreground character.
alright heres a pencil sketch it took me roughly 14 minutes maybe less...i must have forgotten the egg timer...oh well all i know it was almost 15 minutes...i know it was less...no wait let me think...............i forget....i didnt get it done thats all i know....yup
Here's my attempt at a tribesman.
This really made me realise how easy it is to start drawing rather than sketching...
