I dunno, I don't think General is as good as it's used to be. All I see are topics like "my mum and dad doesn't understand me", "I broke up with my girlfriend", "i have a crush with my friend", blah blah, it's pretty boring :(

Well, there are other topics in there that are quite amusing like Photoshop threads but I can relate on those topics you mentioned.
