But, I also agree with you. Serial killers should be executed. Anyone who killed +2 people should be executed, in my opinion.
I have always been opposed to capital punishment. A lot of you guys who support it seem to erroneously believe that it costs less to execute a prisoner than to incarcerate him/her for life. First and foremost, death penalty trials are very expensive, and so is the legal representation for capital defendants, plus the appeals, and so on. When you add it all up, it costs about $2 million to pay for prisoners from their arrest to their execution, vs. about $750,000 to support them for life in prison.
