5 Centimeters Per Second is also not really a christmas movie but it is really comfy with a lot of snowy scenes. Also maybe a weird compliment but it has some of the nicest looking backgrounds you will ever see in an animation, guaranteed.

K-on has that christmas episode as well.

Tokyo Godfathers is where its at though, both for actually being very christmas related and for being one of the better anime movies in general.

To this I would add Kids on the Slope, which features jazz, and BECK, about a teenage rock band.

K-On is about a band but it's basically a shallow framing device for moe blobs to fuck around in. I was disappointed the first time watching in seeing how the music is pushed away as an inconsequential background thing for the most part, just don't go in expecting music to be the focus.

Detroit Metal City is on my watchlist, that might be more your thing.

I saw the yandere anime but i couldn't afford it

Just saw Akira for the 1st time and I liked it... for the most part. For it's time, it must of been mind blowing and hell the animation still holds up to date, I liked the action scenes, and overall it was a fun watch. But it does get very confusing at times and just kinda messes with the flow for me.

That reminds me of Black Heaven, except it was about a middle-aged salary man who used to lead a heavy metal band. The opening theme was written and performed by John Sykes, guitarist for Whitesnake.
