I was off some time last week as well, but Thursdays and Fridays are pretty important days so I thought I might as well ditch today and take it easy, then hopefully I'll be good for then. Feeling a fair bit better now anyway, stayed in bed all morning, then got up and watched TV.

I went into sixth form today thought because I don't really want to miss any more lessons, have finals coming up in a couple of weeks.

Theres a wierd coincidence ave been bloody throwing up as well. Still got a tone and a half of work to do. Just about to finish that half tone and get it out the road. Then a have like 4 days of solid AI simulation type coding thing to get on the go. And peoples lives depend on it. Well their degrees do anyway. Their helping, but I need to get the important shit sorted soon.

Otherwise it falls to bits. Cant wait to get better, and then to get shitfaced. And wearing a kilt should be good!

Oh aye somones took a loan out for me (because Im a student cant get another) so I can get a PS3 just to play GTA4

2 more days and its out. And then I have to wait about 2 weeks knowing I could be playing it on a big 50" tv with the HDMI leads their and the gamein the box and we WiFi controllers and the buysing a tone of junk food and juice and redbull and living in the one room for a few weeks solid playing.

Waiting to do that will be mental torture while working, but it will be the cherry on the cake that will come after the <a s long as I can last> drinking session!

And I think I will fit an interview or two for a job in their somewhere ^_^ I hope I dont fuck that up.

Anyway, just had a can of something called Kronenbourg Dynamo. Popped into Tesco today and they had it in, brand new. Figured I might as well try it so i picked up a four pack. Not to bad. Think I prefer standard Kronenbourg though. Still, i'll polish off the other three tomorrow. It is a college night afterall :)

I set up an account there, and I got MySQL-database and FTP server etc... I've learned XHTML and is currently learning CSS and the database thingy..., but when I'm going to make other sites (e.g a guestbook) inside my main site, I'll just add the HTML documents to the FTP server, and then add the name of it after the site of the URL?

Like... The "main" site is called "index.htm", and if I upload "guestbook.htm", I'll just add "guestbook.htm" to access the site...? Is there a better way to do it?

Programming Camps

Hey, I know I'm not a Programming Reg, but I thought I might as well ask here seeing as it's not worth making a topic over. Has anyone been to any camps like this where they teach some programming. I can't attend the Introduction to C, but I'm thinking I'll learn a fair bit about it before I go to the that and should be all right. I mean, I know AS, but I think learning some newer languages might be good. I've started learning Processing, but anyone know of any other good camps / summer stuff where I could learn a bit more?

I don't know why, but the idea of programming "camps" just makes me think of nerdy kids with no social skills.

I had the exact same feeling. I thought...why not just either learn from a friend or learn from the online tuts. But I guess it'd probably be faster in general if you did it at a camp, which is why I came here...so ask if that's true.
