Hey guys a ran into some trouble in TW. So anyways im doing the Forest Temple and I was in the room with the bridge and the monster that pops up out of the floor. so I got past and started lighting the torches. All of a suden my lantern runs out of oil! So I figure, What the hell? I'll just get some more. So I use my new bird friend (Forgot his name) and teleport to the start. Then I go and realize that I can't pass the dark fog if im out of oil. So Im asking, does anyone know how I can get past the fog?

Normally killing yourself would get you at the beginning end.

Then after getting the oil you can warp back with the bird's son/daughter/whatever the hell that is.

Also, If you get the oil from that bird, don't pay at all (wich makes him chase you after seeing you again) or just pay 1 rupee which makes him happy.

Any of you guys beat the first temple and been to Kawariki Village? I have. Is the green guy from the beginning who kidnapped the two blonde-haired people a boss or something? I just wanted to know.

You mean kakariko village? And yes, i have, I've completed the game.

The green guy is a boss, yes. You have to gace him in a game of "chicken" on a bridge where you have to try 'n knock him off the bridge.

Then when about to enter Hyrule castle at the end of the game, he makes an appearance. There you have to beat him in a 1 on 1 sword fight. He also suggests a friendly return in a later game. "I follow the strongest side" He's not seen in TP anymore so probably he'll appear in another game.

You do know that I mean the guy that rides the boar right? He blew that horn in the beginning and that hole appeared above the spring. I'm talking about that guy.

Hey all. Im pretty sure i was a member here way back in the day. Anyways i just bought TP for the Gamecube today and i cant wait to play it tomorrow. I would play it now but i cant be bothered re-connecting my Gamecube. This game is basically the sole reason i bought the Gamecube so it better live up to my expectations!

Actually you face him 4 times in the game :p After you turned Castle Town to normal and go to Telma´s bar, you´ll have to escort Ilia (or whatever her name was) and Telma to Kakariko Village, you´ll see him again on another bridge and have to shoot him down with your bow. And in the Gerudo Fortress in the desert you´ll also have a one on one fight with him in the middle chamber.

yeah, but the time when you escort Ilia is the same fight actually. It leads up to the bridge.

You have to understand that they did that all on purpose. I'll admit I was expecting Zant to be a bit different before the battle but I ended up loving that boss battle for a couple of reasons.

At first I was taken by surprise by the change of style in Zant's character. But soon after the battle started I honestly got a creepy feeling over everything and actually felt creeped out during the battle with him. I loved having to fight him in different forms and then the last battle where he just unleashes on you and attacks you with swords was fast paced, energetic, and freaky all at the same time.

The reason for the sudden change is really quite simple in my opinion, When Zant walked around calmly and mysteriously before the last confrontation it was most likely because it was Ganon that was manifested in him, or at least his power. But during the final meeting with Zant he reveals his true self, in what to me is, and incredibly eccentric and creepy character that succeeds in the meaning intended by the creators which was to set off this vibe of this crazed lunatic that has all this power. Power that's not even his own.

I dunno it's late here and I'm short for words. But really as a change that it was for Zant to appear different last minute I loved it and it gave off tis creepy, maddening, thrilling vibe when I fought him.

But I do think that if they would've made Zant's face all different (more evil and not on crack looking) and kept the freakish clown personality he would be freakin' awesome. This evil looking guy, who goes bananas on your ass if you get in his way.

Zant's face really gave me a sence of security :) lol. He looked so peaceful and happy when he showed his full face. When cool vampire Zant appeared to Link and Midna he made that creepy sound, I nearly crapped my pants.

Who was your favorite boss in TP excluding Zant and Ganondorf.
I'm still thinking about mine...

I think almost every boss was cool in the game, but too bad they were so easy to beat. Best looking was the dragon boss (Agnarok?) in my opinion. But my favorite was deffinatly Stallord. I think he was fun and he was probably the most diffecult one.

hey i was wondering if anyoen could help me out with the TP. i have three monkeys, and i'm in the room with the fourth, the oen where the weird worm things pop out of the tiles and launch you places. Well anyway, i know how to get to the fourth monkey, but i dont know how to get to the key (underneath the wooden step things) i tried putting the torckes out with water but it never worked.....any tips?

Well I could just tell you how it works :) Just throw your Boomerang at those guys underneath the tiles and finish them with your sword. There should be a few torches lit and unlit after the bridge. You can put out the fire if you throw the boomerang at it and turn it back on with with your lantern. Just puzzle a bit and you should be able to get up. And the key is not where you think it is. It´s actually on a pillar in the beginning of the room. Roll against it and the chest should fall off.

Yeah, those bosses were REALLY easy. Too bad, but still entertaining.

TIP: Always roll against stuff! Sometimes you're searching your ass off and then after an hour you suddenly notice the pillar with something on it. Also, try to get a compass and a map in every dungeon. They just show you where stuff is.

Oh, and i decided who my favorite boss is.

Morhpeel. Not because it's the hardest, but because he's a cool sea creature. I have a thing with big sea creatures. (1)I really hope there's something in that loch ness lake or somewhere else, 2) i get scared shitless when I'm in deep open water. You just get the feeling there's something massive swimming below you and you can't do anything 3) Seeing a big sea creature and you next to it has something you know? 4) My favorite animal is the blue whale. a frickin' giant.)

Anyway, thos are the main reasons I think he's awesome.

I know. The bosses weren't a real challenge. I think i died once in a boss fight. (the one with the ball and chain)

Yes. It's like running towards a crowded bar with a murderer on your tail. If you get to the bar you're safe, but if he gets to you, you die horribly. And being chased by something trying to kill you is relly freaky. Plus, it's probably really fast in water.

Okay, I need help again. I just started the Gurgone Mines and attacked a fire creature.. and had my shield burned. Then Milda kept bugging me to get a new sheild so I checked a guide to see if it said anything. It didn't say anything but had the shield Link uses in all of his games. How do I get that shield?
