LOL how long are u???

I sort of "quit" quite a few pages back.
The club wasn't really going anywhere.
The new people were, regrettably, idiots. People couldn't decide between this being an RP or an actual club. And a few made profiles and didn't come back or post at all.

I'll still post here, Season 3 ("_"), but with accounts and everything, I'm done. Hell, I haven't even seen the topic STARTER post here in a while.

Anywho, I missed about 2 episodes. One due to my own lethargy and procrastination.
And another because I went out with my family to dinner.
So, what have I missed. And Fremen, if you're still here, what's new?

Wow, I haven't been here in forever...I think since the last season ended. Are you guys still doing the whole RP thing??? I'd have to scour my posts to find my guy..... That sucks that they didn't have an episode tonight, because of that stupid square sponge.

So, what did everyone think of the Grand Finale?

I had two thoughts:

1) A sequel is bound to come.

2) Aang's combination of the 4 elements looked really stupid, and the whole fight was pretty stupid. I thought it would be a lot for advanced (for Aang).

Sah, I've been trying to find good screen shots of 'Avatar: The Last Airbender' on the net but all I could find were polluted, noisy shots. As if the person put absolutely no thought into the picture they were taking of.

I thought that I would provide the community with some of my favorite screen shots from book 2! All NTSC resolution (720x480), with 32-bit color. I tried to make them as clear as possible without compressing 1 byte!

We love Avatar, and have for a long time. But we're pretty disappointed about this casting decision, and we know we're not alone in that.

The Nickelodeon show "Avatar: The Last Airbender," on which this film is based, featured Asian and Inuit characters in a fantasy setting inspired and informed by a variety of Asian and Inuit cultures. The characters fight with East Asian martial arts, have Asian or Inuit features, dress in Asian or Inuit clothing, and write with Chinese characters.

Thats why we are sending a message to the industry, and trying to stop this monster before its too late and save the show we know and love.

Hey I thought the live-action film of avatar was gonna be a complete bust but now several important changes have been made.

Dev Patel of Slumdog Millionaire has replaced Jesse McCartney as Zuko
Aasif Mandvi of The Daily Show is playing Commander Zhao
James Howard Newton is doing the music (though I would have preferred the track team to do the movie).;
The budget for the trilogy (that's right trilogy) is going to be $250 million

so overall I think this bodes far better than it did for dragonball evolution.

No doubt, do you have any fucking idea how much money all of season 1 and the second half of season 3 brought in?

(Season 2 and the first half of season 3 did great also, but not anywhere nearly as good)

Indeed.

Aang basically did *Five Earth attacks, one big water attack, rinse and repeat* and he only used air and fire for defense never attack.

And if my memory is correct, he only used fire bending once in the entire fight for something other than defense.

I mean, the firelord but on a great show but Aang was so boring, I would have liked to see some strategy and mixing of the elements in the fight.

Also, it could've been longer.

Also taking away the fire bending is such a Deus ex machina, like god damn.

2) Water bending, honestly I wouldn't chose Earth because it seems to boring to me, wouldn't chose Fire cause it'd be useless and I wouldn't chose Air because i'd be dead. :P Also, blood bending is the shit. I think that could've been such a huuuuuuge plot device at the end of the series, I can't believe they basically wrote it off without exploring it more.

Also, that non avatar avatar movie looks like shit.
