Sure. Just don't post about your "loving" of Apple anymore.

What? Nah, they're crap. Worst MP3 player I've ever seen.

No, my old Rio was the worst. That thing was GOLD compared to mine.

Hey kids, quick question.

Am I right in thinking there is some sort of device you can stick on you're ipod which allows you to play any song from you're ipod on a nearby radio?

So you just point you ipod at a radio, tune in the station and any song could play on said radio...

..or did I just dream this?

Yes, there is an accesory that allows the iPod to recieve a radio signal, but I think that you have to set it to a frequency for the radio station to play on said iPod. Never having used one, I can't say I know for sure.

Engadget says it's BS. They're usually right, so don't get your hopes up.

So I added a few slogans, and I need to use just one. Take your pick, or suggest one yourself.

I have another little problem concerning my CD Ripping Problem. The alternate source I was using got corrupted, so I'm out of that. Is there a good WMA to MP3 converter out there? I've gotten a few and they say that they can't convert due to "DRM Technology".Any help is always appreciated.

Well that's about it, and don't forget to just have fun.

I got the new 30 GB iPod video which is simply the iPod as of right now before my ipod is then named the 5th generation iPod and not just simply the iPod. No illegal programs? Anyways I like it so far as I've had it except I hate the battery life. It makes me unable to fully enjoy it because the life really sucks. 6-7 hours of music playing if you change songs have backlight for 2 seconds and EQ. Haven't yet proven to myself that it's 14 hours with no effects and purely playlist with no interuptions.

Yep.

Tips:
Dont change songs randomly around your library, as it loads the next 45 minutes of your playlist or whatever into the cache, so skipping through that is better than skipping to random songs.
DO NOT CHARGE YOUR iPOD WHEN IT IS NOT FULLY DRAINED
Don't fast fowards through songs.
Don't have the backlight on at all, you don't need it, just have the button on the main screen.
Don't have the EQ on, it doesn't make THAT much difference to the sound and drains the battery.
DO NOT CHARGE YOUR iPOD WHEN IT IS NOT FULLY DRAINED
Don't shuffle all songs, especially when you have over 1500~ songs. Big drain on battery life.
Don't show album covers, and don't switch to the full-screen of the album cover view.
Don't use playlists of over 50 songs or so, put it simply, the more songs in your playlist (or if you go to an artist and listen to all songs), the more battery life is going to go. I have playlists with 30-40 songs in each of chillout, feelgood, etc, so I don't need to waste battery life.

You could've put Linux on in 3 minutes, and sold it for more since it would've been able to play videos and shit.

Besides, things that have been tampered with can often sell for less in markets such as this.

You have to agree, though. The buyer will probably show it off to his/her friends.

What else is there to discuss about normal Apple firmware other than the skins they have?

Yeah, but I think that rarely happens. Whenever I have a specific problem and I know the NG BBS can't answer it, I try to find the most relevant forum.

So telling people to mod their iPods with iPodLinux and/or Podzilla is an even better idea considering the stupidity of our BBS.

Hello I would like to join the ipod club. I have a fourth generation 40GB ipod. I mainly use it to consolidate my huge CD collection and I have to say that I have had no problems with it ever since I got back in late 2004.

I just finished installing Linux on a (yet another) nano. I haven't been making enough money out of doing so, so the service is now free.

...*sigh*.

Way to charge for something that's free in the first place.
