Darth Maul was cool, if only they explained him in the least bit other then "he is skilled". Darth Vader is the chozen one, the second most powerful user of the force (maybe, don't know about Yoda), and awesome looking. Darth Maul has a lightsaber somehow, and the coolest one that that, and he looks cool... and he is skilled enough in his own way to take one two Jedi. Maybe if they went deeper with Darth Maul, but as of how it is I'd say Vader would win.
Vader, hands down. Darth Maul was pretty cool, but Vader is the greatest Sith ever, and he is far more powerful than Maul.

The saber action scenes in the old ones weren't nerely as fast paced as the new. Maul could kick vader's ass in a split second.

Darth Maul was not a Sith Lord like Vader was. He was still the apprentice of Darth Sidious. He did not have the skills in the Sith that Vader had. Clearly, Darth Vader who is a Sith Lord would destroy Darth Maul.

I always though Obi-wan let himself be killed. Not sure why, maybe to inspire Luke to become more powerful as, with the lack of a better example, Android 16 did for Gohan againts cell. There're some flaws in what I just said, but the basicness is there.
Obviously if Bedn teamed up with an Ewok they could easily kill both.

he let him self die watch the movie dumbass he say "if you kill me i will become even more powerful" and vader could choke him but in a saber battle vader is old and slow maul was fast so maul in a saber in a force battle vader easly
