Now now, I admit we've had a bit of a cock-up, but we can't let that stop the race. We must set a time to start properly. Also, instead of the tardis, you will have to find an object with 'EGC' carved into it to go to the next era. To make sure that non-compeditors can't use them, you'll have to wear these electronicaly-chipped monacles.

*Hands out the monacles from a box. There should be one spare, but it is missing*

Jeeves will hand you the first object upon starting. Do what you will to prepare until such a time. (eg. Practice talking about the weather, etc.)

Yes, but at least he didn't say that there wasn't going to be bad weather this time, like with the great storm.

Indeed that was rather a bad mistake. One still can't think how they managed to mess that one up.
Come to think of it what year was the great storm?

I think it was 1988, but don't quote me on that.

well as this is around the world in 80 decades one thinks well must first have a route round the globe. Then take an event from the history of the country we pass through and head to that decade.
That way we can pick up some cheap drinks at the sametime.

Well, the next stop is 1815 in Belgium. Happy camping.

Any particular reason we are stopping there? Did something interesting happen in Belgium in 1815 that I'm not aware of?

This is a most helpful referance to inhistorical gentlemen such as myself. I even have a map now! Shall we take sides, or are we going to be dotted about randomly? And will we have our tea and coffee-making facilities on hand? One hopes that sirs shall still make use of the electronic monacles...

Cheap imports = Joy for any observing JFs upon our return. But I ponder, sir vampire, shan't it be difficult for you to travel in the daylight?

I say that doesn't look to good. The army of England and friends are marching away from the french......Wait wait, one remembers now, because of this Marshal Ney is about to lead the french cavalry on a mad charge and get them almost totally wiped out.

rofl, maybe you should ask in the ASM or SSM or whatever, and say it was your entry. >:D

although one thinks that would be rather underhand for a gentleman.

Congratulations to the England Football team on reaching the World Cup finals. Also, for beating Poland 2-1 this evening. Michael Owen and Frank Lampard scored, to leave us group winners, maybe enhancing our seeding in the Finals next year.

Okay, we're slowing up... I've got to judge the whole thing about the damned PS's. Wish I'd never started the damn competition now.
