I'm a native New Yorker who has been to California. I've never lived anywhere but in NY and won't live anywhere else. I've also spent enough time in CA to know that the average homeless person is more chill than the ones here, but they are still just about as needy and present. We all could face homelessness when we least expect it and need more social safety nets.
