The wait is over, it's time to announce the winner of our Bowsette / Super Crown Art Contest!

We received over 560 entries and the vast majority of them were really damn good; I think this might be the best art contest in the history of NG.

LukeValentineArt's gorgeous piece mixes soft appeal with vivid colors that really catch the eyes. The expression really sells it as a great transformation!

Don's popping piece mixes designs so well you can get absolutely lost in the texture of the illustration combined with it's amazing shades. Well shaped with fantastic body language that really brings out the most in how far these mashups can go.

Halloween Spooktacular

It's our annual Halloween Spooktacular here on NG! We'll be featuring your spooky scary animation, games, art and music all month.

Our Halloween Writing Contest is back this year thanks to @Fro, who is hosting.

The best entry in each category (animation, game, art, audio, story) will receive $100!

We're also putting together something special for a handful of Inktober participants this month, stay tuned.

First! With that out of the way, there have been so many cool entries for this, and I don't know if it's the best NG art contest, but it certainly was very, very good and fun. I really do like to think that a lot of these were made specifically for the contest.
Can't wait to see those spoooky entries for the spooktacular, too! Keep an eye out, I might actually have something for that (if it can be completed in time). Even if not, it'll be great seeing all the spooky scary skeletons.

I am questioning the scouting system. So many talented people but their work does not get appreciated enough. I understand the necessity of such a system but is it balanced?
