Yep, you made it in with time to spare! Honestly, I can't wait to see what happens next, either...
No worries! Thanks, I just did the dumb compo so maybe I'll try the new chips compo

The results will take quite a while since each judge needs enough time to listen to and score every single track. The complete schedule can be found near the bottom of my Newgrounds Audio Deathmatch 2017 news post, but results for the Auditions will not likely be revealed before Sunday, June 25th.
Similar to yesterday's deadline, the results can come out any time before Midnight, EDT (-4 GMT).
They will be posted in a separate thread, which will be linked to and from here, as well as added to the aforementioned news post. All participants in the ROUND OF 64 will receive a PM, followed by two weeks in which to make their 100% brand new track!
Lather, rinse, repeat.

Counting on you

Which track was disqualified and why?

AlexMartian was given an opportunity to submit his SoundCloud track to Newgrounds before the deadline. Since this is a Newgrounds contest, and he has done absolutely nothing here besides enter the contest, that is entirely unfair to everyone else. Therefore, his entry was disqualified.
We are now down to 236 total entries since the one submitted by @Psychknight was subsequently removed by him. Suffice to say, without a track there can be no score, and the Auditions are over. Life goes on.

Good Luck to all artist to pass the audition.

Good luck, music pals!
64 slots out of 200+ entries? considering you'd have to listen to all the entries anyway, seems like a good time to make it a Round of 128

Five months is long enough for the NGADM, I believe. Half a year would be pushing it...

I will try to explain both sides of this argument:
@raving2thegrave side of the argument:
A Round of 128 would also mean that it would be more likely to pass auditions. Although it hasn't happened often, it may help the newcomers such as myself.
@ChronoNomad side of the argument:
There are two main ways this can be discussed: additional judgment/audition time and additional length of the whole tournament. Together, with the extra round (round of 128), would be roughly around 6 months long from first round to grand finale. Each round is 3 weeks (2 weeks for making entries, 1 week for judging entries), and there are 6 rounds (that makes 18 weeks (12 accumulative weeks for making entries, 6 accumulative weeks for judging entries), or roughly 4 and a half months). If we add the additional Round of 128, we are now with 7 rounds (now we have 21 weeks (14 accumulative weeks for making entries, 7 accumulative weeks for judging entries), or roughly 5 months and a week). This can cause strain on both sides of the tournament (musicians will be overloading themselves more than they would in the original 6-round NGADM, judges will be overstressed by the extra amount of judgement time).
With that out of the way, the easy winner for this would be ChronoNomad, as we do not want musicians or judges to be overworked during the tournament (especially when NGUAC and NGCHIPS are going on throughout NGADM).
Yup, I agree with Jordan and Chrono. In addition this is supposed to be an elite competition only including the very best of the best, that's why this can't just be a free for all competition. Take this from someone who has failed the auditions three times in a row, the ones that aren't good enough for top 64 should probably rather focus on improving their music and try again next year instead of getting kicked out in the first round and learning nothing
instead of a round of 128, just join chips compo if you don't make it into auditions. we'd be happy to have you !!!
Come join music competitions on Chips Compo and hang on our Discord!
Good artists copy. Great artists get banned from the Audio Portal.

What @johnfn said!
And the NGUAC 2017 Tryouts continue right on through June 30th!
There's plenty of Newgrounds contest goodness to go around, even for the most ambitious of overachievers.

hmm, yes, I don't think I really thought about the logistics when I made that post lol, definitely one of those "easier said than done" things

Seven rounds is more than enough, seeing as I've made exactly seven in the last year alone. Its awakening for the brain
In previous years that would have been the case after the Group Stages, which used to come immediately after the Auditions. It was 4 vs 4 battle for all 64 artists who survived the initial culling, and only one from each group would survive the ordeal...
lol i see the petty 0 bombing is still a thing. i'll be posting to my soundcloud from now on. pathetic af

It is indeed a sad fact that zero bombers still exist, but try not to let them drive you away. They're so not worth it.

meh it should be a rule you cant zero bomb without a reason and people doing it for shit reasons should be perma banned.
anyways go ahead and remove me from the comp if you want. it's a pity. i really improved with neurofunk and was planning to make something sick. i literally only post on ng for constructive criticism. since i shan't be receiving any. i'll take my music else where.

Why would I remove you from the NGADM? I mean, if that's what you really want, but don't act out of haste because there are zero-bombing morons roaming the site. That's no different from anywhere else on the Internet.

Wowow, wait a second. You have a single song that might have been zero-bombed, one song this year. All of your other submissions have 4+ in rating?

well it's discouraging. i mean with my number of views hovering around 100 - 300 per track ( which is nothing), no one is gonna wanna vote for a track that's like 2 / 5 for a competition. i'm just over it. i'll wait and see what judges say but i feel it wont change anything.

clearly people trying to take out competition considering this is well... a competition. either way.. it's not fair. i mena i know the track isnt the greatest but it's my VERY first try at dnb and at a very hard sub genre neurofunk. F*** me for trying something new right?

I can guarantee you that the judges aren't taking the score of a track into consideration when judging. Honestly, most people don't care about the scores anymore in general.

@Ectisity is 100% correct. Scores from votes and reviews are not calculated into the NGADM. Each track is scored individually by each judge, and then we go with the overall average.
