I put those two together on the preexisting entry, but there's an ongoing spreadsheet with all the Audition entries on it. With these two new ones we're now up to 233! Just two more are needed to tie with 2013...
Though three would be best since AlexMartian is on the verge of being disqualified at the deadline if he fails to submit his track to Newgrounds.

For the auditions I shall submit the song I'm proud of in this first half of the year (that I've released, I'm working on something better but it's a secret for now).
It's shoegaze/prog rock, but with a distorted hang drum instead of guitars. I hope you like the experiment !

I'm interested in giving this a go, of the many tracks I have I finally decided on this one as my best contender. Imagine being in a film, trapped on a space ship, something is coming to get you... this is what I envision playing as an escape is planned and made, only to crash land at the end

That's ok, I just didn't realize that those were two different contests unitl your reply. Totally my fault. To be honest I don't think I am qualified for either contest but I want to be more involved with the community, test myself and try and better my skills. I'll give it a go:

Likewise! The turnout of talent this year, new talent, at that, is astounding. I've really been enjoying the submissions so far, and thankfully there's been next to no nonsense/rule-breaking audio. Judging for AIM some weeks ago, I ended up having to remove an entry for using copyrighted samples on an otherwise stellar track, and that wasn't fun. Nearly everyone is following the competition rules, which is refreshing. I am saddened @RealFaction wasn't able to host this year, but the job is being done well, and everything is being taken care of to absolute perfection, complete with a nice, stress relieving spreadsheet, heheh. Anyway, I suppose I'd just like to say that I'm proud of the whole shebang, and here's to having an absolute blast through the rest of the rounds of the competition!

And we also have the regular CHIPS Music Competitions, which take place every other week! @johnfn hosts those, and although CHIPS III just ended, there will be another one in just one week's time. Each one is different, and they'll be continuing long into the indeterminate future. Or until @johnfn has a massive stroke and dies of an embolism. Whichever comes first! :3
