Finally I can go into colors, I try to make as many layers as possible to easily change colors in the end. I have no time to do some color studies. I am seriously surprised with how it is turning out so far though.

Might become an all-nighter this friday and I might have to ignore the wings (but I really want them in =/)

Theres still a long way to go with this (including making the axe a lot larger since I saw the scale of it) but this is the basic idea I'm going for??

I can't finish the work if I use all my free time, because this week is full withh tests, and I get back home at 6 p.m.

I know how you feel, I'm up every night trying to get in as much drawing as i can, then going to bed at 2 AM and waking up at 5 AM for work, I feel like a zombie every morning lol but its worthit.
Hopefully ill be able to get my tablet next month because drawing with a mouse really puts a strain on your wrist. Best of luck to you, cant wait to see your final piece :)

Perhaps you can work on your drawing for 2 hours or so depending on how tired you feel, I had a couple of all nighters and took one day off from drawing to rest an it helped alot, my brain was refreshed afterwards, hopefully that will help you.

i think it might be a little late, but imma see if i can draw something atleast half decent to submit. i would have started earlier but i went to mexico with my family for about two weeks :p

I'm having a hard time drawing because my parents says it's a waste of time. .. mind you I'm 25 and my family makes it impossible for me to pursue my career in Arty. I have given up alot because the pressure I'd hard. But m my friend keep encouraging me. I feel to halt jazza when I see your video you motivate me. This is gorgeous, and definitely not a waste of time. If it is something you love and are passionate about, it is never a waste.

I don't know your situation, but I try to look at it from this way:'Will I regret it on the day I die if I stopped doing this?' Art is not an easy field to earn money, maybe that's why your family wants you to do a easier job.

The real failing is when you stop trying.

The sketch
The story behind it is that
There is a museum of Jazzas artwork which is hidden deep underground so no one has been able to find it and they are the first visitors in centuries

This is what I have so far. And please don't think that any of these pats are finished,There NOT! :)

Did some colouring, I don't have much time left and I didn't have much time this week. I hope I can finish this but it's going to be hard work the next couple of days. Next step background and details! I am going to see if I am drawing the aliens on the foreground or not. Wich is pretty important... so yeah

I have a work in progress. Not sure about the colors though.

Another Update on my WIP, made slight changes to it, the previous WIP is next to it, followed by the changes, I blurred the background so that the changes would be more clear to see without any distractions

I'm pretty bad at perspective lol

heya, your perspective is indeed a bit off :/
maybe try making a horizon line and then draw lines going to a perspectivepoint, maybe you can see mistakes there, also try flipping the image horizontally (makes things more obv to see)

I finaly got my work scaned and started colouring. This is the first half.

About to start on linework WAAAY too late...

Some progress made, haven't had much time because of work, and inking multiple panels is taking far longer than i anticipated (this is my first time trying a panelled page)

Ideas about the background? All welcome...
