Probably some stupid amount of money that I am not willing to shell out if I wanted to cut about 2+ feet of hair off.

I get my mum to trim it every once in a while, but if I wanted it cut to my shoulders, that's a good amount of hair, and I'm probably looking at $50+ for something I've grown attached to, and that my husband loves, and that I get positive comments on.

My haircape is my friend, even if I tend to hide it. >: (

£8 roughly for hair and beard trim. I go to my local barbers every few months at the moment. They do it nicely shortening the hair and keeping it looking nice. I don't care for any colouring or styling etc. I just like to have it cut shorter and neater.

My mum pays for my haircuts but I guess they usually cost $15-35. I usually get a haircut every three and a half months.

I was fortunate growing up that my mother was a hairdresser and had a salon in the house, and now that I'm out on my own I am fortunate that my girlfriend prefers to cut my hair, so we don't have to worry about paying for a haircut, and the 10-15 dollars can go toward anything else, like dinner, or a date of some sort.

I agree. It makes sense economically though.

Nothing as my wife does it. I've actually never had it done professionally, I used to really struggle with a lot of the products used as I'm asthmatic, so my Mum took a course when I was a kid and did it at home. My wife has simply continued that.

Good money saver though! Assuming about $10 every two months, that is $60 a year and $1200 over the last 20 years!

I bought a hair clipper, so I don't pay.

A friend of mine proudly hasn't had a haircut for 18 years, thus saving him about a grand to a grand and a half. His fiancée on the other hand would like her haircut once every six months minimum, but because it's so expensive to have it properly styled, she can't afford it. That makes me sad, because if she could have a haircut, it would help her self-esteem.

Meh, I'm sure they will sort something out - she'll get a job and the first thing she will do is book a hairdresser.

I don't pay anything because I cut my own. I usually just shave it with a #2 guard on the clippers. I don't think I'd ever want to have to pay to get my hair cut again but the downside to that is that I'm pretty limited by what I can do with my hair. Although I generally prefer shorter hair anyway.

I pay about 40 bucks, which is more than i used to pay when i didnt live in philadelphia, but ive gotten used to the place i goto and enjoy my barber's company. If i'm in a pinch or in some other part of the country and just need a quick shape up ill go wherever.

You bought the clippers, you pay your electricity bills, do you not? You may pay a lot less than most for them, yet you pay something for each cut, nonetheless!

Also, do you have three sets of clippers for different parts of your anatomy (head, face, other?), or do you just keep them set to one length each?

As of late I've been shaving my head. Although i haven't shaved it in about 2 months, so its at a moderately long length.

Currently I'm rocking a mohawk so my hair cuts are around two months apart and cost around 9 pounds (13.72 US dollars according to Google) for the sides shaving and the top trimmed. Think I might be getting a dying kit next time to make it purple so that another 6 pound, will look sick though.

Since I started cutting my hair regularly again, I pay my cousin (who is 8 years younger than me) $5 to cut my hair every time I'm at my uncle's house upstate. He does a good job and has pretty much already mastered the craft of cutting hair with a bit of help from trained professionals on his mom's side of the family. He has had enough practice cutting his dad's hair, all of his friends' hair and I'm sure others as well. I completely trust him.

I've had them on and off for years. Why would I get teased? They go with the tattoos and piercings.

I've never seen a legitimate mohawk ever. Usually kids these wear fohawks. Do you get teased?

I've only seen a few legit mowhawks in person.
I think the best one I saw was one that was like a foot long, was all spikey, and the person dyed it rainbow colors.

I usually pay about 12 or 15 dollars. It's weird, because I think I recall a time where I had to pay like twenty dollars for a haircut, but maybe I have just gone to a cheaper place. Speaking of haircuts, I have had ten haircuts, meaning that I am going to get my eleventh one for free!

I pay a little under $15+ a tip for a haircut every few months. It's a shame i can't find them cheaper around these parts.
