Just got a new laptop, so only 350 GB's at the moment. All I'll really need to be fair, I have an external hard drive for all of my music needs.

2tb in externals and ~600gb (can't be bothered to check and I have enough partitions that that's definitely a nontrivial task) on my laptop.

I've got 1TB and a 500gb external. I bought it for the sole purpose of doing Starcraft 2 casting (yes, you heard me) since desktop/ game recording software records very very large files before you edit them, lol.

I have 250 GB of storage (~20GB free), an external HD with another 250 GB (~50 GB free), and a flash drive with 8 GB of storage (~900 MB free).
- As a side note, all of those storage devices are formatted as HFS+, on at least one partition.
About 4.7TB.
~185GB SSD RAID0 for OS/Programs. One 2TB drive for media/project files/renders/etc. Another 2TB to back it all up. 500GB external for some older things. Had the 2TBs in RAID1 before, but it didn't benefit me too much.

I have 2 drives, my main drive is about 80GB, while my data drive is 1TB.
I have plenty.
I don't need much, therefore I don't use much.
About 2 - 3 terabytes throughout my house, or more. 90% unfilled.
I had 1TB but I had that 250GB taken out, so I'm left with a measly 750GB that is constantly filled. I think I only have maybe 20GB free right now.

That's kinda what I want to go for. I have an 80 GB SSD and a 1 TB HDD atm, but I want at least four drives in total - one for games/low priority programs, one for samples, one for backup, and one for other media.
Some sample libraries are sold on hard drives themselves, so I've gotta leave some room.
I've got about 350GB left on my hard drive. seems like enough space.

My laptop has 132 GB, the sad thing is that i got this in '08 for $600, and a similar spec laptop is like $300 now, stupid technology and the fact that it depreciates unreasonably quick.
