Thought I'd start this. If a mod would delete my old thread, that'd be great.

Thanks! Here's another. I already uploaded this in an old thread, but here it is again.
Really solid start man, keep going! I look forward to seeing you improve.

Thanks! I would upload some newer stuff, but its late, scanners messed up, sleep, tired, beddd....
Put it in front of my face and drew. Tired of portraits and posemaniac, went for something stylish and a bit cartoony. More tomorrow. Night
Bad quality on this one, too big to fit in my scanner, so i had to take a picture.
Some posemaniac drawings I did earlier today.
Acrylics on "canvassed" paper. Just practicing shading. Is anything wrong with it?
Quintuple post= win

Forgot the pic?

did you use a reference?
because the shape seems a bit off
then again, all apples are not created equal :P
Nah, I was mainly focusing on the actual shading of it, but that will be something that I will be working on.
And no, they are not.
I am terrible at noses, so I pretty much sat for a half-hour drawing them from this site.
Feedback would be awesome.
Crappy camera again.

That's a nice set of noses you have there. :D I love the shading on these things. They look awesome. Keep it up my friend.

holy shit i'm bad at this. pic forgotten.
No reference portrait. Sketch on right finished on left.
Your sketches are fairly correct anatomically, but one thing I'd work on is how sharp they are.
Then again, I'm not much for faces as you can see in my thread....
But I'm really diggin the teapot. The colors really stand out for me.
Red is my favorite color.
.
I'm a little confused as why you do your sketch separate from your portrait, the sketch is a lot more accurate anatomically then the finished one. The noses are a bit long on both though.
I also don't like the football eyes, eyes just don't look like that.

Hmm, well I started out sketching the one on the right, and I didn't like the way it was turning out, so I started the second one, which I thought was better, but apparently not. Thanks for the feedback though, it helps me fix stuff like those goddamn football eyes.

Ugh... I hate double posting. But anyway, thanks about the teapot, but what do you mean about how "sharp" they are?
art lingo is not good.
Heh football eyes are better than eyes that look like giant unshapely blobs like I used to have... Another thing I want to point out is how your noses are very upturned. Though they may seem that way on the model or reference, they're not as high as you think and shouldn't be defined by u-shapes. Try rounding them out more on the tip and shaping them more as three spheres that intersect.
Also, your eyes are a little high up on the head. They should be about halfway up the skull, leaving a far more prominent forehead than you'd think on a bald sketch. The tops of ears come about level with the back corner of the eyes.
.
Yes, looking over the sketch the one on the right was more anatomically correct. I think I just liked how the shading was looking on the left one. oh well.
More no reference sketches. I do like the way the bottom right turned out though.
didn't like the way the last one was turning out, so i started this, and i think I'm going to submit it to the portal. thoughts?
