It's nice to see that Microsoft is finally adding Wi-Fi to the Xbox 360, but this really seems like something that should have been included right from the start. Overall, their press conference was a dissapointment. I was hoping for there to be enough stuff to convince me to buy an Xbox 360, but I would much rather stick with my PS3 and Wii.

If Sony shows off Final Fantasy Versus XIII or The Last Guardian, I'll be more than satisfied. As for Nintendo, all I care about is the new Zelda game and the 3DS. Also, Atlus needs to announce Persona 5. If they do, then I'll be the happiest man alive!

Trust me you didn't miss much. This MS conference was as bad as Nintendo 08 and Sony 06.

It wasn't as bad as those two conferences, it just wasn't as nearly good as it should have been or has been in the past.

Like others have said it started off strong and then declined and came to a stand still.

-Call of Duty: Black Ops shown.
-Activision and Microsoft sign deal all Activision dlc content will be released first on Xbox 360 until at least 2012.
-Metal Gear Solid: Rising gameplay shown off. You can choose how/what you want to slice.
-Gears of War 3 gameplay shown. 4 player co-op. Bezekers are back and insane. Everything is a tentacle rape monster.
-Halo: Reach gameplay shown off. Space fighting involved.
-Fable III announced for October 26th release. New trailer shown
-Microsoft and Crytek team up for "Kingdoms". Due 2011 Xbox 360 exclusive
-Natal dubbed "Kinect". Launches November 4th. Launches with 15 games no price announced.
-A bunch of Kinect games. Kinectimals, JoyRide, Sonic, Star Wars, etc.
-You can control your Xbox just by talking to it.
-New Racing game due 2011 from Turn 10 (Forza creators)
-ESPN and Microsoft team up to announce live streaming of sports events. For FREE.
-New model Xbox 360 announced. Same price as old 360 and includes 250 HD, built in Wi-Fi and new design.
-New 360 will be in stores by the end of the week. Everyone at the conference got one for free. It was shipped to them during the conference.
-New 360 load up animation

That's pretty much the run down. A lot of the specifics like what Kinetic games and the way the 360 looks and operates when using Kinect you will have to watch some videos for.

Things I personally liked:
+Gears of War 3
+Halo: Reach
+Controlling your Xbox 360 via your voice.
+Free broadcast of sports games for no additional charge
+The new 360 model. I didn't like the design at first but looking at some real snap shots it isn't too bad.
+The game from Microsoft and Crytek

Didn't care for:
-All the Kinect games and focus
-Not enough new game announcements
-Crackdown 2 not shown
-The ugly purple cases Kinect games get
-No Kinect price tag announced. I assume they're waiting for Sony.

Looks like I'll be getting a PS3 for Christmas this year. No good games from Microsoft in the foreseeable future. Hopefully this Kinect thing will flop sooner rather than later so they can get their focus back on actual games.

Matches the ugly purple jacket the presenter had on. He was incredibly creepy; I feared for the little Asian girl's well-being.

That's another thing that was off this year: the overall presentation. Microsoft always has a bit of awkwardness, as do all press conferences, but it was just terrible this year. I guess Kinect is probably to blame, since people had to illustrate how fun they were having. The banter between the people playing was just cringe-worthy throughout.

Didn't really like Microsoft's conference this year, all that's really knew is kinect and the new 360 slim, and some launch games for kinect.

Can't wait for Sony's conference tomorrow though, hopefully they'll have something really great to show.

I didn't like Killzone 2 all that much, the aiming system, I thought, was utter shit.

But I heard good things about GT5 so at least it couldn't be worse than Microsoft's.

Dead Space 2 looks great. On to EA/DICE working who are on Medal of Honor together. Going right after CoD.

Not interested in Need for Speed or Dead Space 2.

Medal of Honor's online looks like an almost exact replica of Bad Company 2. haha.

I may not be a fan of NFS in general but the new game has given me some interest. Dead Space 2, looks good but I still need to play the first game and Medal of Honor? Meh, just modern warfare setting.
