Found ! "In and Out Morph Sex" ;P
"moarphs, in and out"... get's my vote
or just "morphs, in and out" if you like
I don't think literally putting the word sex in the title works at all.
By the way, just to clarify, I was joking when I said that we should say that it is a metaphor for sex. I still like 'a little bit of In and Out' the best, thinking about it. Not too graphic, but still quirky and funny.

Hahaha. Not funny.
This collab is looking amazing. But each part is like a second. You'll need lots of parts, at least 70 of them
70 parts= 1min 20 sec.
Am I right?
I am a FAB

btw what's the approx run time we have now? do we have enough morphs or should we get a few more?
Got it! Looks great! I'm sure we can do a lot more, but it's looking good so far. Let me finish up with the chaotic version and see how it looks. If it looks good we can just leave it and save our ideas for a 2nd version or a similar project. I'll let you guys know tomorrow or thursday, as long as all that snow doesn't knock out the internet (can snow do that?)
Run time of the Sequential one is about 47 seconds (like 1115 frames), the chaotic one depends on how you like to think of it, it's a loop, but never loops in the same spot, so it's constantly showing the animations in different spots. I guess look at that presstube one, it only has like 6 skulls, but you can watch it over and over.

Thanks.
Not really. you are thinking more of something like TheBoogley's Morphing Orgasm. That one is to show each individual morph and the more the better. This is more for the chaotic version which is a bunch of them firing off randomly at diff spots and different times. They loop, but not in the same spot, so it's something you can just watch and enjoy, there's not thing to figure out, it doesnt matter if it entertains you for a minute or hours, just enjoy it.
and im listening to all the ideas, trying to process a good one that fits.

haha in nyc we were promised tons of snow... doesn't seem like it's going to happen at the moment but we'll see. Let's hope your power doesn't blow out!
gl with the rest of the chaotic section, can't wait to see what it looks like
Yeah i heard its already snowing on 34th, I'm further up town tho so I still have a lot of time.
BTW if anyone can help out with an AS2 question. Is there a way to loop the movie without having to start it over? So like, have some code towards the end that says to go to the first frame, but continue playing the rest of the swf at the same time?
I was going to do the animations manually, but then figured out I could use code to randomly place the animations so it never really plays the same thing and every time is different. The only thing is, unless I just copy and paste the mc's over a couple thousand frames, it will eventually end and you'll get a blank frame.
The only other way I can think of explaining this is when you use audio in flash. If your movie gets to the end and there is no stop, it goes to the first frame, but the music continues playing from where it left off. I basically want to keep 2 or 3 animations moving during that "loop" period so there is never a blank frame.
If no one knows, then I have an alternative idea
Think I figured it out. I think if I put a random number of blank frames IN the mc's and have them all in the timeline with a stop(); I can have them constantly play without ever having to stop. They wont loop the same animations because they have different amounts of blank frames between them. I'll try it tomorrow, but if anyone has a better idea let know.
that last idea will work but that's giving yourself quite a bit of work.
there should be a way to "spawn" them in different x/y positions but i forgot how to do that in as2 :C
possibly make a thread in the programming forum "Spawning mc's randomly" in loop .
GL either way

Alright that works. Ill throw that in.

Yeah I already started it this way. I copied the code into the colored ones and it seems to be working. I kind of hate figuring out different things to try to get action script to work, so ima just stick with this.
So now the fla is too big -_- I went to open it and I can barely even navigate through it. Any ideas on how to fix this? I was thinking of splitting it in half and putting it back together after im done. I am trying to remove some of the extra symbols because some people sent their animations with symbols. Anything else anyone can think of besides find a faster computer?

Not realy good at thease things but I know it can get huuuge if you import the sound and music incorrectly but I doubt you messed up on that so I dunno :/ I would split it into smaller sceenes like you said.

Yeah, I am going to someone's house to use their computer, they got 4gb ram and my shitty labtop is 1gb, and CS4 recommends 2 :/

just remember to get a 64-bit system :P I've seen way to many people forgetting that and getting like 10gb ram with 32-bit = they can't use more than 3.5gb of their 10 xD,

Haha yeah i made sure to do a lot of research on that lol. Just gotta find a good company to go with cuz i def don't feel like building one
Well I am tired, pretyt much done, but need one more person's animations(you know who you are). I wont be here Fri-Sat, so when I come back sunday I will finish this up, as long as I have the missing animation. It's looking great, the chatoic is fun to watch, but prolly still eeds some tweaking.
