I bought Dust on sale yesterday and Trials: Evo DLC today. Can't believe this DLC cost me 200 measly points.

Got a PS3 for Christmas, and a few Xbox games.

So it's now a mix of new achievements and this new fangled console.

Does age really have anything to do with the Christmas gifts you get? I'm 20, and I got a few Microsoft points to spend on Rock Band DLC.

I went Boxing Day shopping today and got myself Angry Birds Trilogy, XCOM: EU, Battlefield 3 (Premium), Kingdoms of Amalur, and Medal of Honor: Warfighter ($20, so whatever).

Oh fuck I haven't posted here in like 8 months. Absolutely nothing of interest occurred. But the new Xcom is kicking my ass and I love it.

Got Far Cry 3 yesterday (with money I got on Christmas). Awesome game, huge improvement on the car wreck that is Far Cry 2. UI reminds me of Dead Island, graphics are awesome, and the gameplay is fun. Only complaint I can come up with so far is that once you take down an animal, you might find it difficult to find the body in the tall grass.

Kane & Lynch 2 is not actually that bad. I like the gritty camera style (although it makes me think my TV's fucking up at times) but it is obvious that the developers took this route to half-ass the sub-par graphics and physics. Also heard the campaign is like four hours total. I got a couple other games too but I always find myself going back to Hitman Absolution.

Also finished Far Cry 3. Pretty sweet game.

So I got the rest of The Walking Dead cause it was on sale, and I don't hate it as much because Episode 4 and 5 had some good stuff in there, but damn this is still not a very well made game and all the characters suck.

Sister bought the Mass Effect trilogy, so I sat down and finally finished Mass Effect 3.

I have to say, I had forgotten just how absorbed in the story I would become in all of the ME games. 41 out of 50 achievements in one run is pretty good.

After being an unemployed, moneyless hobo for 2 months I finally got a job at Wendy's while I look for something that doesn't actually suck.

In other news, dominating the Dragonball Z HD Collection, all that time spent playing it as a kid are paying off.

Got all the single player achievements in Far Cry 3. I'll try and get the co-op ones tomorrow.

Got Far Cry 3. It's a good game. no, not GOATEE OF ALL YEARS like some people are saying, but it's entertaining. A solid 8, maybe a 9 I'd say. 210g from that so far.

I also got Tony Hawks Proving Ground as a gift, but I have absolutely no interest in that so it will never leave it's wrapping.

In a fit of madness, 2 other friends convinced me we should all try for Seriously 3.0, which will never happen but it's not like I have anything better to do with a year or two of my life.

Even though I didn't get much Gamerscore, I got more than I expected. I just sat down yesterday and played though all of Rainbow Six Vegas 2 in one sitting. I only played it because I thought I'd made little progress last time I played so I started a new game, turns out I must have played though a good chunk of it last time because I remembered most of the levels.

I have a little over a week left before I go back to uni but there's not really much on Xbox that I want to play at the minute. Well, of the games I have. Still need to get back to Star Ocean at some point but I'm not really in the mood for it at the moment.

Just totaled Lego Pirates (annoying tedious little achievements), and will probably finish up the co-op missions for the remaining achievements in Far Cry 3 later today. Might try for the achievements I have left in AC3 however those will take quite a long while as I cannot take that much brain damage in one go.
