Finished off Army of Two: TFD last Saturday, think I got about 350g or something. Earlier I played GH:WoR for about 4 hours straight to grind 500 stars in Quickplay+ for 40g, I dunno if I can be arsed to get another 1000 stars for 60g.

It's not that I wouldn't do it on Veteran, it's that I can't be bothered. I've done every other CoD on Veteran bar 1 and 2 due to impossibility and not having them on Xbox.

On a different note, someone said something about asking the programming forum for a solution. I know someone who is very awesome and could probably do this (ShittyKitty), but he's currently occupied with getting retrogade back up on it's feet. I'll ask him, but I'm anticipating a no.

Got bored of Far Cry 2 so I decided to try out some of my remaining World at War misc achievements, I never realised that by "Amsel's Henchmen" it meant the guys right at the start, I always thought it was his driver and sniper and that, and it meant the dogs from the firefight after the big assault starts, oh well, it was easy enough. Also glitched the Gunslinger achievement which allowed me to do Vendetta on Veteran ridiculously easily.

I'm getting so close to finishing Turok which has been a bitch of a game achievement wise. I only need to finish 5 or 6 more co-op games (not as easy as it sounds) and do the other probably 2/3 of the campaign on the hardest difficulty to 1000 it. Hopefully I'll be done in the next few days.

I'm currently debating whether or not to pick up Dragon Age 2/Pokemon Black on Friday. Looking at going to Leeds Festival this year if MUSE and Red Hot Chili Peppers are playing so can't really afford to buy anything else with my preorder taking about £65 leaving me with about £200, but I am going to have to give one of my friends some money to come with. Oh well... I'll stick with Blue Dragon again and try and finish that off as much as possible. Proberbly not going to be able to get all my characters to level 99 but should be able to get all the items and monsters, with all warp devices and barriers. Should be fun.

Rejoice, people. I have a script that automatically reads the gamerscores off the official Xbox website. ShittyKitty took some time out of his busy schedule (and trust me he is one busy beaver, don't be afraid to shower him with love and suck his dick out of gratitude) to write us a script. This is the message he sent me along with it:
Okay, I've written up a quick-and-dirty little program that'll pull gamer info for you, and I've put on my server here. To use it, make a file with a list of gamertags that you want to pull, one tag per line. For example:

joshua70448
yourtaghere
foobar

You'll browse for that file for the Input File, and you'll browse to save an Output File. Click Start Processing to begin, and you'll get a comma-separated value (CSV) file containing each user's gamer tag, Live account type, reputation (number of stars), and gamerscore. You can open this CSV file in a spreadsheet for further use. Enjoy!

I've made a quick test run with it, and what it does is, it takes the .txt file you create with the Gamer Tags and it produces a spreadsheet off it with some info. The output looks like this:

When I put in:
joshua70448
KoentJ DDG
foobar

I will receive as output:
joshua70448,Silver,3,355
KoentJ DDG,Gold,4,28395
foobar,Gold,4,1930

As you can see, first off, the output comes out in the same order as the input: Joshua comes out first. This way, you just keep up the input file with the way the leaderboard was ranked the last time, you copy and paste into a word file (or whatever it is you want to use to copy and paste from onto the BBS) and start switching those that switched places from there.

Besides that, it gives more information: The first is the gamer tag, live account type, reputation and last but not least the gamerscore. Now, there are some things in here we don't need, but who cares, the delete key is right there.

So basically, with this output all we need is someone to keep up a template in a word file that has the rankings of the last Leaderboard (including which gamer tag is which NG nickname) and you can just copy and paste the new gamerscores, manually update how much gamerscore they went up and manually update how many places they went up. Basically, I think this will reduce the time of updating from 1.5 hours to about 15-30 minutes.

I don't think I have anything better to do today, so I think I'm going to run the first leaderboard with this script and create the word template. I'm not making any promises though, because I might have some overdue coursework laying around. If anybody else wants to pick it up, I linked the script up there, so enjoy.

Alright, so I made the text file with the Gamertags (order based on rankings on the last correct leaderboard). I didn't add anybody who was supposed to be added though, because I think we need to keep this first run with this script clean.

Now, I figured, I doubt the site we used in the past came out with a clean template of our Leaderboard (including who went up, including NG nicknames, including top whores, etc.). So is there a template already out there?

If so, please share it with me through e-mail with me: daredevilguy@gmail.com. If nobody sends me a template, I suppose I will make one from scratch at the end of the day.

Until then, I have uploaded the text file to rapidshare in case someone who already owns a proper template feels like updating the leaderboard: Gamer tags.txt.
