I've been so disappointed with games lately, and it doesn't seem to be changing anytime soon. So, yeah. Splinter Cell: Conviction isn't good enough.

Most, but the feathers are a bitch to get and then the glyphs are ridiculous. But yeah, most are from the storyline, but I just wanted to complete it properly this time.

Well I got them for two reasons:

A) I wanted to complete the game with 1000G; I NEVER get all the achievements in games.
B) I wanted to do it without cheating, because I wanted to see if I could do it. I usually go on xbox360ahievements.org but I resisted this time.

I'm pretty sure you only had to get a few along the storyline, and the others were extra for the achievement, because I beat the game only getting a few glyphs.

Just want to verify, the glyphs are almost all optional. Any story glyphs will pop up during cut scenes, and I don't remember how many were required, but it wasn't a terrible amount.

Back from the Montreal Meet, got some Battle Fantasia achievements while in the hotel, and a MvC2 achievement, but for right now, it's flash, and then I'm going to enjoy my copy of Bioshock 2.

Though I have Jurassic The Hunted and The Bigs coming through Gamefly sooooon.

The glyphs aren't bad because it tells you what building they're on in the info page on the start menu or whatever. Solving them can be a bit dicky on a couple of them (the ones converting numbers into symbols........ eughhhh) but all in all it's not a hard 1000G. The feathers took me a while and I had to use a walkthrough for some of them but you can see which part of each city you have feathers in on the info menu so it's not TERRIBLE.

I'm now sitting on a nice round 14,000 points after getting a few more from HL2. Think I'll give this game a rest now and try and get some achievements from games I've not yet completed.

I think I might just start with Darksiders.

Man, I should've gotten on this list before I got BF:BC2. I'm dropping achievements like flies. 26 achievements in 6 hours time just by finishing up the campaign made me all warm inside. Could've tried to go for whore of the week :(

If anybody is interested in playing some BF:BC2, add me, I seriously need some people to play with. Also, still need a bunch of Splinter Cell: Conviction achievements (co-op realistic, last stand and face-off achievements), so add me when you want to stealth around and be awesome.

I have. But so far, other than Left 4 Dead and maybe the Saboteur, all the game sI've rented turned out to be shit, like Mass Effect 2.

And got £25 which I have to say s more than I expected to get, so I preordered RB: Green Day (I was the first person to do it :3) even though it comes out in a few days but my mum agreed to add on and extra £5 so now at least I know for certain that I've got it.

So after getting the full Rock Band kit, Rock Band 2, Rock Band Green Day and plenty of other little things, I can now move on to what my dad is going to buy me.
Think I'll just get and iPod Touch and RDR because I've gave that back to my friend.

I sold Rock Band 2 on ebay, listed as £15 went up to something like £36. Not unreliable, unpredictable maybe.

Got Red Dead Redemption the other day - Great game, but achievements are sometimes hart to come by.

The achievements come as you progress, as a lot of achievements can't be done unless you've been everywhere and finished the majority of the game or at least a good portion.

You seriously think you wouldn't get more than 25 quid for all that on eBay? Episodes From Liberty City would be worth at least 15 quid alone and I'd bet that you could easily get twice what the store gave you for everything. Sure you might get less than you hoped for from eBay sometimes but you'll ALWAYS get much more than a store will offer you.

Played K&L all night, slowly working towards the big cumulative online achievements, and now I'm going to dive into Gears 2 multiplayer because there's nearly 1000G just waiting to be earned.
