Hmm interesting. As a european (I'm English), I have a few continental friends, and I speak fluent German, and some French and Spanish.

I specifically advise anyone going to Europe to AVOID using those translations, unless you're looking to make a fool outta ya self. The bottom line is: Translators NEVER work. Remember that.

"Wieviel hat es gekostet macht, Geschlecht mit Ihnen zu haben?" translates word for word as "How much has it costed make, sex with you to have?"

PS: "Du sprichst Kacke" (Doo shpr-iksht ka-ka) means literally, "You speak shit" Expect to be told that if you use those sentances in Germany, or any other German speaking country

First, i think the moron who did this is a fucking cock, i mean seriously, he says we were too lazy to learn english, well they should STFU, because we fucking learn 3 languages in europe, french, english and german. All you do is fucking spanish, and that mught only be on the south of the USA

And you're stereotyping the US as much as you have been; it's a requirement here in all high schools to take two years of any foreign language. I've had eight years of German, because, frankly, German is the most intelligent of the European languages (aside from English, duh). Also, just because someone lives in "the south of the USA" doesn't necessarily mean they speak Spanish. You're thinking of the influx of illegal (and a very few legal) immigrants coming here from Mexico, which is, if you've had your geography, right below us, and, consequently, speaks primarily Spanish.

I lived 3 years in LA, i know they make you do spanish, they did not make us learn anything else.
Maybe i generalized a little bit too much, but I know that we weren't even ASKED to learn another language.

So how much did they pay you?

It's things like the Euro-Translator that make me wonder A) why I took latin, a dead language, and B) why do we waste our time learning other languages? Can't we just get an A+ by buying it? Thanks Tom, next time I go to Italy, I won't have to BS my way through Rome.
