errors have been worse today, then ever befor. :-\

Back to the topic, I noticed today that one of the ads had an error message. I hope that this error problem gets solved soon, since I think ads have to load before it counts as a view and that would mean less money for NG.

I think you should possibly consider even more bandwidth, an extra gig or so should clear up a good handful of errors, 10 gig could possibly clear up 1/10 of them.

It is not a bandwidth or webserver issue - it is related to the connections on our database server maxing out before they reach the set limit. Once we solve this, the change should be very noticeable.

Oh. Can you somehow change the limit or is it a preset sytem setting? Well, doesn't matter much atm, the site is really starting clear up! haven't received any errors yet today, so whatever you're doing, it's working.
I know this may sound like a n00bish suggestion, but, since you said there are multiple connections,(the s) perhaps you could try an extra connection to see if that helps? (hmm, yes it was a n00bish question...makes me sound like I've never dealt with a PC before)

i'm getting no errors while readin the forum, but a few minutes ago in the portal i was gettin nailed with constant errors, is anyone else getting that same retarded pop-up about internet history being recorded? it's really starting to annoy me.... anywayz.. i can't wait for the update.. i'm totally sick of not even seeing what a score is after i vote just because i get an error loading the page

Hey, everyone, I have an idea. Well, as you all know, ng is having extreme loading issues so check this out: what if people donated money to NG. With that money, Tom could buy more servers to host the site, and generally up-grade ng so it would suppot the growing ammount of people. Think about: over 1,000,000 Ng'ers, if just 1,000 people agreed to give $5 every time tom had to pay to keep the site up, that's 5,000 dollers each time he has to pay, which would seriously help. There are also people who would probobly pay more to, and more people that the original 1,000 that would give like $2 or $10 sometimes or something... I know it sux, but tell me what you thin
