As for this game, I think it's cool and interesting, with some original ideas. Not every game is for everyone.

I like the game. It's obviously way too easy but it's a creative game with a fun concept. As for your question, I think 80% of the time I'm having fun playing games. 10% of the time I'm mindlessly playing a game when most of my attention is with something else (like music, stuff on TV, whatever). 5% of the time I don't really like the game, but the 'rewards' (as in medals) are nice enough for me to actually like playing it. The other 5% are times when I straight up dislike a game but I still play it because of the medals. Please note that Lastman doesn't fall in that last category, because most of the time it was fun to get further and further into the game, learn about more booby-traps and get closer and closer to the goal.

Medals really add something to games, and no I'm not just talking about that shiny badge on your profile. I mean these challenges within a game makes the game itself a lot more fun to play imo. When I see a really difficult medal requirement in a fun game, I really enjoy thinking about a good strategy, make a plan, and keep getting better and better at it until you finally reach that goal. This is pretty much the thing I like most about gaming in general.

You might be missing the first one. It's on the boat when it cuts to the red bunnies before you move the cannon to shoot them. You have to be quick before it cuts back to you and the cannon. It'll be on top of the crate when the bunny jumps off. The rest are on static screens. The last is in the underwater puzzle behind the air gauge, making it hard to see.

However, I feel like we just kinda break that rule anyways for games where all the medals are secret. Oh well. I suppose it's fun to figure out all the medals as a community xD

I suppose you're right. I figured if people were going to a guide they might as well see all of the secrets, but finding them on your own IS more fun.
