Best Simpsons Episode Ever

My favorite Simpsons episode of all time was the Australia one. The writing was extremely clever and it had many classic jokes in it. Much better than the crap they are churning out these days.

Barts playing with a pocket knife.
Aussie in Bar: You call that a knife? THIS, is a knife!
[the man pulls out a spoon]
Bart: That's not a knife, that's a spoon.
Aus: Alright, alright you win. I see you've played knifey-spoony before.

And who can forget the chubby Australian kid that Bart called to check his neighbors toilet to see if it flowed backwards

The writers of the show these days are just terrible and the show was steadily going downhill years ago when the original writers left.

Do you guys agree with me, or does anyone love the new Simpsons episodes? Also, what are your favorite episodes?

The show is going down a steady slope of shittiness and Fox know it...

I love that episode and that whole season (Season 6! In stores NOW!!)

I still think my fav of all time is either Lisa on ice (ockey episode) or Itchy and Scratchy Land.

My uncle and I can never park in a place and not say "Remember, we're in the Itchy lot" and we ALWAYS laugh.

"You Only Move Twice" is the best episode by a long shot.

Honourable mentions to "The Homer They Fall", "Lemon of Troy", "Homer's Enemy", "Trash of the Titans", "Homer vs. the Eighteenth Amendment", "El Viaje Misterioso de Nuestro Jomer", "I Married Marge", "Lisa's First Word", "And Maggie Makes Three", "Grampa vs Sexual Inadequcy", "Raging Abe Simpsons and his Grumbling Grandson in the Curse of the Flying Hellfish", "The PTA Disbands", "Bart vs Australia", "Homer's Barbershop Quartet" and "Cape Feare".

lol australian steriotypes are always fun- it just gets annoying when they have nothing to do with the country- shrimp on a barbie? We dont hav shrimp in oz- we hav prawns.
Some jokes are good on that show, but they are running out of stuff- rightfully so how many episodes can u make?

Actually, almost all of the older episodes were completely saturated with inside jokes and easter eggs.
