Now this is some Skoda goodness. Had my head noddin' to the beat. Epic.
Real Megadrive sound this time. I used RYM2612, which has the ladder effect and can rip game instruments via RYMCast, a standalone VGM player for SEGA Genesis/Megadrive VGM/VGZ files. I also used it to crush the drums. It was worth the money spent :D
I also used a freebie on this track specifically for the SN76489 (PSG) channels. It's from SocaLabs, and it's a good one for beginners. But if you're more advanced and/or looking for something that responds to MIDI controllers, you're gonna have to shell out some money.
Anyway, for long timers here, you've probably heard this tune before. I linked an old track as the original version (because it kinda is).
Before anyone asks, yes, the guitar-like sounds in here are from Thunder Force IV.

Yesss, I remember listening to the old version! This improves some aspects of the earlier version, but I feel like some elements actually regressed (the drums are less punchy in this one for example). A fantastic song for sure, I just wish it was mixed a little better :)
I really want to do like a rock/chiptune fusion remix of this x.x
