This track is intentionally a throwback to 'Anchorwind Sounds' of previous albums. For quite some time, I was caught in the hamster wheel wherein I let everyone else define success for me. I let everyone else define me for me.

However, no matter how much you get done - the world will throw more stuff at you. Additionally, if you surrender power over yourself to other people you will always be unhappy: maybe you'll be continuously chasing approval, maybe you'll be slaving away at a job or ideal, maybe you'll lose your own identity, etc.

Define your own success, and your own identity for yourself. We process information differently, and have different goals. Embrace the people who support you for you, and let go of the people who don't.

As I reflect back on a long, painful, last ten years - hopefully I can save some other people some pain along the way.
