Hello old friends...
I have not been here for many years now and I am sorry. Life has gifted me challenge after challenge which has robbed me of both my ability and desire to compose. It has been a hardship I would hope no one has to bear. I don't foresee me posting any other pieces.
I wrote this song for my son. He is two. It is a tune that enters my mind whenever I see him. When I think of the circumstances surrounding our lives, I weep. However, I know there is hope and I will never give up.
The song itself is riddled with imperfection, just like me, just like you, just like everyone. I'm not going to dress it up and make you think I'm special. I'm not. I'm Corbet, and this is all I have to give.
